- This is the second half of our third day. We quickly set up our tent at Camp Italiano and made way up the French Valley with an amazing weather window.

About this series:
It's the final circuit hike for us in Patagonia Chile. And we are at the infamous Torres Del Paine National Park. We have five days to complete the "W" circuit and it looks like we will have some good weather and some bad weather.

I feel like I have watched most of your videos. This one was my favourite hike. Or at least top three. So amazing. The mountains were amazing. And the sub alpine(?) with the small deciduous trees. When I think alpine in PNW I think small evergreen trees and blueberry bushes which are beautiful but this scenery is amazing. Added this hike to my list. I don’t know if I’ll ever get there.... but hopefully!!
Hope i could make it possible, otherwise, Chile has other amazing places to offer!

I did the W trail about 10 years ago, but was not able to go all the way to the end of this section, I certainly missed a treat. Perhaps a return trip that includes camping at Italiano :)
Thanks, Nick and Jen! Fantastic mountainscapes. Do you have any information on the geology of the horns? There's the darker rock topping out the lighter rock towers. These are spectacular on my phone. They must be breathtaking in person. Thanks again!
