I lost both of my parents within a week of one another this late January... I discovered this song shortly thereafter. Both of my parents were in bad health and very old (92 and 94) - they were suffering and SO ready to go. This song, and especially how Luca performed it says it better than I ever could. Mom and Dad this one is for you... You Are Free! Man I miss you guys and I hope to see you soon!!!

When I saw the name Luca Stricagnoli on the title, I knew I could hit the like button without even watching the video. This man is a legend.
I gotta say, you can tell how much he loves music when you see his face when he plays. He looks so at peace and so serine when he plays, that it actually is an almost beautiful thing to see. A musician becoming fully immersed in his music is the best type of musician since they practically become a part of the music, and with the way he plays, it's no surprise that he can get that immersed in the songs he plays. It's a really beautiful thing to behold.
That is the reason why he is so good, he's doing it just being in the presence of his actions

Of all the fingerstylists to come onto the acoustic guitar scene over the last 20 years, several have expanded the genre, Hedges, Don Ross , Andy McKee, and others, but Luca has pushed the envelop with his multi-instrument compositions. His brain must weigh 10 lbs, I can't image the the way he plays each perfectly. He's a giant!

I've only been following him for a couple of months now, but recently I sadly learned a dear friend had lost both his parents and wife of 34 years all last year. They were all suffering from various cancers for some time. I shared this video because even the title says it all: Now We Are Free. Free of the pain in their bodies, etc. As a musician he simply blows me away! No words to express how grateful I am for his music!

On one hand, this the the most gimmicky thing I've seen yet on this channel, but on the other hand, he manages to justify it by intelligently using both guitars and even the bass(!). I really gotta give it to this guy. A great display of knowledge of the neck(s) and technical ability, and a great sounding cover. Hats off

That's a very ignorant, small-minded statement to make. Hip-hop is as valid an art form as any, and just as there's plenty of trash guitar music to go around, you shouldn't discount all rap music based on the worst of the genre.
