My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. We definitely sacrificed a bigger home for more yard space- having room to spend time outside close to home was super important for us! I’m super excited for you guys, and these videos are always my favorite 😂
It blows my mind how easily people are able to move and buy houses. My fiance and I have been working our butts off for 8 years and can't seem to make it possible.
Its certainly not what people make it seem like. Nowhere near as easy as people make it to be. We just bought our first home and without the help of family we would have never been able to

She has owned houses in the past and can use the equity to level up. I know the prices in California are outrageous. Move to Tennessee or Kentucky it’s still affordable.
It’s not like that for everyone. In this case the housing area is still being developed. They will more than likely make equity on the home. That equity can go towards a new house
Look into a down payment assistance program. That's what helped us.

I saw this coming when the twins & Landen started sharing a room, actually I knew the house was ALL wrong when Landen & Addie shared a room, Jess was never going to continue that set up for sure.

@@JesssFam funny story…we live in Ireland, lots of land around our house but one day my husband and one of my boys were walking in the fields behind our house and they heard a rustling noise, so they found the source of the noise and it was a little hen tied up inside a plastic bag that some cruel person had thrown into the field….so we rescued it and next thing I knew we had 5 hens and a chicken coup…:we had them for years and they produced eggs every single day.

In Australia we are so spoilt with land and block sizes. My daughter grew up with her view of the ocean and could spend her teenage years exploring safely with friends. She’s 28 and still talks about what an amazing childhood she had.
Like you Jess back then I was a single mum. I lived with my mum till she passed away 7 years ago. Now my girl is exploring Australia literally.
Your kids are so lucky to have such fantastic parents I have watched for years and you have never altered your deep love of your kiddos and family.

@@Donna754 actually they did the casino brought the land 10ys ago and started breaking ground in early 21 delayed due to covid but opened august 22 the casino has always been part of that development hun not hard to go to google and look up the information yourself :)

These are big construction projects they don’t just make plans overnight and start building the next day as I’ve said in my other comment the casino brought the land 10ys ago to build there and build a hotel beside 👍🏻👍🏻

So Very Happy for you. You will LOVE living in the country. And so will your kids. I grew up in the country and have lived in a very small country town south of Sacramento for 25 years. We just absolutely love it and raised Angus Cows for 20 years. There are still noises in the country but they are so different than they are in town and you can't hear your next door neighbor in the bathroom. There is so much your kids can do and it is such a different and much better life for them. Congratulations to you all. Happy Moving and Happy Country Life!👍😊

Things happen, we built our house 17 years ago. 3300 sq ft it was great when my kids were little now empty nester and my husband sick there is no reason to stay. Have a rental house in the family will save 1600 a month plus utilities. We travel 12 hours to Minnesota every 3 months to Mayo clinic, we have medical deductible every year, yep have to do what you have to do!!!
