I've been listening to different trios and soloist, unfortunately no one can beat Allison Speer. She sings a high note and I love watching her singing this song. It blesses me every time I listen to her singing this song.

For the past 6 months I have been listening to all of the Bill & Gloria Gaither, and I've enjoyed it emminsely.. Then, one day, I clicked on Allison Durham Speer, and got the shock of my life. She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, I THOUGHT that Sandy Patti had that claim to fame, but, no, Allison has them all beat. God bless you, Allison, sing for our Lord.

What a powerful and anointed song. This is another one of my favorite songs, which was written by my mentor in the gospel industry non other than the Late Dottie Rambo. She has left an incredible and amazing legacy behind for sooo many to follow. I just ministered this song tonight at our Ministers Meeting. I'm also grateful to God for this wonderful and anointed lady who has touched millions all-around the world with her music and indeed the best songwriter you could ever find. She has really touched my life and for this, I will be forever grateful!!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Only Dottie Rambo could so beautifully and so simply state the pure message of the GIFT of salvation, the wonder and love that was shown for us on the cross, and the fact that we are all solely dependent on what Jesus did for us that day. Chills!

I am a fan for life. You have the voice of an angel. I use to go to my Mother's house and we would sit and watch the Gaither's, it was a weekly ritual and what a Blessing or I should say more Blessing's when we heard you. She passed in 2016 and now I sit alone. I am not an only child but we were such good friends and shared a lot together. I still watch you and have the best of memories. Thank you for singing. Oh my Lord. There aren't enough words. This song and this video are beautiful. She has a gifted voice and sings so beautifully. I watch often, but I never feel less than when I first watched it. My heart is so moved I can't help be cry. Someone told me decades ago... that there are times....when all we have are prayers and tears. For me, this is one of those times.

This is why we celebrate Christmas. The babe in the manger, God's only begotten Son, virgin born, God the Son, came to sacrifice Himself on the cross of Calvary for you and for me. I will glory in Him. Just as He didn't remain in the stable, He arose from the dead that you and I may have life eternal! He is deserving of our praise. Glory in Him - the light of the World; The Word made flesh made the difference for me.
