I was at all those meets, I remember Roger Clark competing in his Escort Mexico, just after he won the World Championships.
I still spend a lot of time around the strip, as many of the local farmers are regular customers of mine.

Great nostalgic video mate.......I was there a lot in the late seventies and early 80's. I think I saw Chris Richards on "Olympus"?? A couple of corrections though.......it was Bandag and not bandage. I think they manufactured or distributed tyres.......and I believe Pip Higham was pronounced as in "High em". Apologies for being pedantic. Thanks for sharing!!
