I especially love seeing what you do with pre-cuts as I find that I many times will purchase those because I really like the fabric but I don’t have a particular quilt in mind. I just know that fabric goes out quickly and then you can no longer get the prints that you love. Thank you again for sharing such a wonderful quilting channel.
How many Jelly rolls are required in this pattern? I love this pattern and wanted to make it. I can see it can be used in many different projects, so I guess the answer to my question depends on what I am making lol. if I wanted to do a quilt, how many packages of Jelly rolls are used? Queen/king size
I know this is a long time after you have done the vlog, but I have the Lintott book and want to make a lap quilt size quilt and I thought the explanation wasn't very good in the book. so thank you for the vlog. I hope you can answer my question though? Can I use 2" strips?? I have a lot of matching strips from a destash purchase and would like to use them. Will the length of the cut pieces still be 5". Thank you I do hope you see this. xx
Hi Judith, Glad you enjoyed this video. Katrina used a jelly roll measuring 2.5" strips. You can use 2" strips but the length of the cut piece will be 4.5".

Trapezoid is the American term for trapezium, a 4 sided shape with exactly one pair of parallel sides.
