I saw the movie because of this video, I cant believe i was missing such a good movie and I see this video like a dozen of times everyday, this is my stress reliever before sleeping
lol some ppl are such fans of this movie they have made live stage-show reenactments and events in celebration.
Me, too. ☺️
@@CSM100MK2 live stage show is incredible!
Its so much better than the new one
What's the name of the movie???
Point Break wasn't a movie. It was a Vibe.
Vaya Con Dee-Yos
"We'll get him when he comes back."
"He's not coming back."
I felt that.
@mark 87 I hope so. It's the only right way to end his story.
80s are coming back
Such a line...
Love it!!!
Rip Patrick Swayze
we all missed him
Saw John Leguizamo do one-man show in Lousiville around 2010. He mentioned his time in "To Wong Fu" and he referred to our guy as "Crazy Swayze". So now that's how a I always think of him, Patrick "Crazy" Swayze.....and honestly like "crazy" talent, amirite?
RIP Crazy Swayze
Patrick Swayze was the truth
And just a nice guy ...
He was waiting for that wave his whole life... what a damn good movie.. ❤ rip swayze.. 😢
Damn
The 80's and 90's were the best. PERIOD
They were. I'm glad I lived that era cause it will never return...like walking out of the garden of eden.
Mono no aware.
You missed out on a pun there. Or maybe everyone else did. BEST (TIME) PERIOD
ijcn0jir3nvjn3fjcifn You fucking suck, you're just jealous because the 80's and 90's will always be better than this retarded century
I agree! Everything was fine until the grunge, hiphop, and American Idol came along and ruined everything.
he's not coming back...
Point Break + The Midnight = feels.
Duncan D McGrath
So many feels
Keanu, Swayze, 80s film, 80s music, perfection in all elements.
80s music? Whaaaattttt?????
Jannib Andelo Bayutas Vaporwave and Aesthetic music is also from 80s independet of when it was released xd
@@emmarose4789 released in 91, but very much in an 80s themed film in a zillion ways.
And FBI agents of 80s)
90's Baby!
Keanu is a freaking time traveller, period. He doesnt age even though he smoked cigarretes for a time...he will still be making movies in the 22 century.
Yes him and Tom Cruise...
the hair, the clothes, the shoes, the MUSIC.. some of the best times...class of 86
Legend has it he is still riding that wave.
80’s was iconic. No other decade comes close. ‘The Midnight’ allows us to dream again -and remember those magical and priceless times. I play the Midnight’s music nearly everyday as it provides me with motivation and happiness.
i think this was made in the early 90s though..
@@DrErnst right
@@DrErnst Yeah 1991 although like many movies/TV shows at that time, it still has that 80's feel to it. Even more so when you put this track on top of it ofc. Other examples of this are the Baywatch show and the movie 'Career Opportunities'
@@DrErnst true.. but like any decade, the previous spills over for the first couple years until the new decade (90s) has it's own identity.
I mean just look at Swayze's mullet 😆
Except 2 other decades were also iconic, the 70s and 90s.
THANK YOU THE MIDNIGHT!
This is 80's style people! It sounds 80's! I lived it! 47 here still young, alive and kicking! I'm very honored I was a teen in these times! It was dreamy and hopeful! Colorful and full of joy and music! Not perfect but way better than now trust me! 😎💜🧡💚👄
The music is amazing honestly... So heartfelt and mesmerising.

Are you single?
This is one of those songs that you never get tired of hearing.
The 80s and 90s Hollywood glorified America for the world where everyone from around the world just wanted to be an American. I love this country.
@Syed Masood Danish Shah
It's sad how America changed after the mid 90s yeah :(
Btw I think I know you (indirectly) from a long time ago
Once long ago far away This man was young, healthy, strong ,Good looking, successful, then One day he got old And then he got sick very sick and then he die. there’s nothing but memories now this made me want to cry what a beautiful time for him and for Myself.
I just realised The Midnight is one of the best groups to ever exist. It struck me like an epiphany in the night.
Such a gem
I've seen them live. Will never be topped.
@@IbizaHD I've got tickets for their London gig next May. I am seriously counting the days!! Cannot wait!
@@cliffclavin3865How were they? 😮
@@cliffclavin3865 how was it haha!
R.I.P patrick swayze... and best of all things wished to Keanu! We still can enjoy him! When you hear all this music you miss everything of the 80's, even when not lived in it!
Growing up anytime there was a sleep over. This movie was a mandatory video rental. Rest in peace, Patrick.
Point Break....Awesome Movie (1991) Memories!!!!!!😎
Does anyone else experience something otherwordly, inexplicably sublime and overwhelming while listening to the first act of the song? As if undescribable emotions are just building for no apparent reason all while the notes and the singer's voice just hits you deep inside and you just can't describe why?
This song is an incredible experience, no other way of describing it...
It's called ASMR.
Same here.
Yep.
I grew up a teenager in the 80's & yes sublime to say the least
what you're experiencing is the realization that modern music is fucking garbage because it's nothing more than a money factory for the already wealthy and those who aspire to be rich... there's no art, creativity or passion in modern music. save for a very select few.
Point Break...all time favorite film. This song tho....straight fire.
Bittersweet song for a bittersweet film. It's just too perfect.
BODHI THE LEGEND FOREVER
Masterpiece. Beautiful movie. Beautiful vawes. Beautiful actors. She is amazing. And both Patrick and kenue are outstanding. What a memories of unforgettable past era
this music fits perfectly in this movie
And yet The Midnight wasn't even around then, crazy
Nostalgia overload
Definitely my favourite film ever. Nothing else comes close...
This is BREATHTAKING
We're all brethtaking
You're BREATHTAKING
I am 64 still listening to the midnight. Love the 80s. Best time of my life
R.I.P PATRICK SWAYZE TO A LEGEND BODHI FOREVER
Here in my country Portugal, it's 16th July 2020, 8:39 pm. It´s full summer ! An endless Summer with 37º celsius at this hour of the day. On my balcony i can see the city and the horizon it's a mix of pink and orange colours. As i listen to this piece of art, i really can taste some happiness. It's such a feeling, so warm and comforting. I wish i could show you all what im seeing and feeling. Sometimes it's amazing to be alive :)
En Portugal pasa muchas veces.
Greetings from Greece brother! 🇬🇷 🇵🇹
Bless you from California 🤠
If ya put a little more thought into life, ya just might find it's quite often amazing to be alive !!
Amazing final scene. He is his true friend... he let's him go die as a freeman!! A freak too crazy to exist in a "normal society", too rare to die in captivity.

Was awesome 🤟🤟
These 80s videos with the music give me a different trip.. I definitely recommend to anyone who is on a trip to listen to this.. I feel like I'm part of them..
@cag147 Cool.. By 80s I meant the feel and not the era..
Got to see The Midnight last night. Had a great time with my friends. If they're playing in a city near you, get out there. Totally great experience.
This is one of those songs that has memories attached to it. Everytime I listen to it there is a certain sense of loss and missed kisses that I regret. This song is a real beauty and I thank the band from my heart for gifting us with this feeling.
I love you guys!
Digital Gravity thanks for the love man were all struggiling and starving artists here

Love you too Digital Gravity...
Love you too babe! From Russia with Love! Патрик пусть земля тебе будет пухом!!!

Point Break, fantastic movie, probably watched it more than 30 times over the years. Thanks for the view.👌
Our days, our years slip through our fingers so fast
steel1151970 I’m afraid
I feel for what you're saying.
Yes
For the first time in cinema history a soundtrack is released 30 years after the movie - )
All these synthwave vids are classic 80s movies or tv shows I encourage any who haven't watched Miami Vice original to do so, first 3 seasons especially. It will give a great window into the 80s. Also all these classic movies that Hollyweird keeps trying to cash in on, the magic in these can't be bottled, that time was special very special.........the possibilties.......
The amount of nostalgia this kills me with hurts heaps
1 of my favorite movies of all time Point Break crazy ass Keanu jumped out the plane without a parachute #classic
You realise it's not real don't you..it was just a movie..
MrDogsballs geeesh spoil it for me why dont you lmaoo smh
Oh it happened, trust me, I was driving the plane and that crazy ass Keanu jumps out without a chute. We all were like "whoa"
Will Drane he knows kung fu
wwhooaaa...lol
Should have known at the end of summer
The innocents fades and the weak become stronger
Should have known at the end of the summer
I'd be lost without you
The skyline looked like a stained glass window
The city sang such mad crescendo
Four bare feet on a rain soaked street
Summer airbrushed fever dreams
Disappeared in a camera flash
Why do the bad girls never last
Lost in gin and lemonade
Elecrospins and the mermaid parade
Four quartets and no regrets
Except for the polaroids I left
You were just some spell I was under
That endless summer
When I listen and watch this video I want to return back in 90. Very beatifull music and video!
RIP PATRICK, you'll always be golden
One of the best films ever!
And song just puts you in an 80's,90's flasback
My god, it's been two years since the video was made! And it's still amazing to this day. Rip Patrick
Listening to this in Thailand on the beach as I type 😁🔥
Oscar Bushell, lucky you!!! 😁 I wish I was there
Listen to this song in the morning on a beach somewhere in Bali ..good for the soul
I don't think the song could be any more suitable for tomorrow is Labor Day 9-4-22, it truly is the end of summer vibe . The midnight as host! 💯❤️
Оффигенный фильм💪😁
I don't think at the time anyone realized how beautiful this movie was.
no i do think so. had a whole cult following, mainly surfers of course.
Nothing short of beautiful is the way to describe this song!
Because of you guys i get to know some of the grt movies of 80s. Thank you guys.
Simply a song that can loop you back in time and make you feel like life is worth living every moment for. Aslo 1:49 to 1:55 is my favorite part. The chills.
I love to see an endless crashing of the waves on repeat with this song and would still be as hooked as I am now.
Watched Point Break because of this. Now I’m in love!
Every time I see this music video, I'm completely entranced by the lush cinematography and the bittersweet narrative. Brilliant choice of movie, matching perfectly with the mysterious pulsing optimism of the song. Sheer art.
BELLISIMO!
point break will always be my #1 favorite movie :D God Bless Keanu Reeves !
Волшебная музыка!
Спасибо,благодаря Вам,я хоть ненадолго,но побывал в своей молодости
Little hand says it's time to rock 'n' roll, point break, excellent movie, like the midnight. 👍
I never left the 80s, and now they're back!!
This makes me feel something i havent felt in years. Absolute brilliant!
haven't had these feels from a song other than the uplifting trance that I listened to from between 2000 - 2008. This is a whole new wave of emotion though, i can't get enough of it.
I grew up as a kid in the late 80s and 90s. Best ever
RIP Patrick Swayze. He's surfing the waves of eternity.
This is one of the three best videos The Midnight has featuring movie clips. It's so perfect with this video especially.
Thank you! 😁
What’s the other two?
@@Eliot17 Well, I guess, one of them is the Last train and the other either Gloria or Synthetic, these are my favorites
So thankful The Midnight decided to keep 1980s music and that sound relevant even today!
I cant stop listening to the midnight! im 30 and love the 80s and 90s sound! this is amazing
This masterpiece of movie and its brilliant score by Mark Isham is the proof that our beloved 80s phenomen lasted at least until 1991 !
What a time 80s 💯
На гребне волны... Охрененный фильм из моей юности!
This makes me miss home and my friends. I'm away at sea for the summer and won't be home till the end of it. Love this film and this song. Boy u got me looking forward to seeing my buddies soon!! Going to watch this film tonight
RIP Patrick Swayze.
"Cliffs on both sides, I'm not gonna paddle to New Zealand!"
keanu looks so cool with long hair
Rajendra Biswas Keanu always looks cool
But you dont
This makes me smile and the end of the vid ..cry ..with brilliant soundtrack
Классная песня и очень хорошо подобран клип для этой песни!
Я пересмотрел это фильм не один десяток раз. Сбился со счёта. Отличный фильм.
Legends Never Die . It Was Amazing.
Now that I've seen the movie I am even more nostalgic. This is amazing.
Classic film, great memories of my younger days living in 90's Japan renting this film on VHS. RIP Patrick, you were great.
Magnifique. .nostalgique. Top...
Merci👅
Really need to watch this movie again
like most of the channel's work, Digital Gravity makes the movie look better than it actually is.
He lets him do one last wave. Point Break rules.
This is making me nostalgic for the 80s............The Midnight, in the 80s but not in the 80s......wow what a great band.
The Midnight + Point Break = perfect match, perfect movie, perfect music, and perfect emotions....
I can remember so vividly the day I saw this movie. It was a gorgeous super hot summer day. This music/video is such a great edit. I really wish in hindsight during the 80s and 90s, I would have done a much better job documenting my days like I do now via Vlog. I take my GoPro everywhere. The incredible attribute about music and movies is that they truly capture moments in time. We may forget but a random clip like this can stimulate the senses by unlocking/bringing back such super memories.
Yes I remember seeing this at the Avalon in Milwaukee with a girl I was dating, great night remember Debra?
@@falkon215 Absolutely agree
The fact that you didn't document such times arguably make your memories that much more valuable and potent.
@@JubeiRaziel Great perspective and very true. That is essentially nostalgia in its purest form; nothing to document a past experience but what is in your mind that you can recollect.
👍 Yes, I also remember very clearly when I saw it at the movie theater, Amazing !!
It was the weekend after I graduated from highschool 🎉🎊
An amazing movie, and an amazing song that fits it
Не забываемый фильм ,и старина Патрик рано ушол земля пухом.
Watching/listening to this video hit me like a bus.... feels were destroyed...
Can't get enough of this! Between this lovely tune and scenes from a great film, this is a golden combination.
UTAH!!! Get me Two!!
Al Lps Two!!
I miss coherent Gary Busey
Point Break is one of my favorite movies of all time
Gorgeous music, just so beautiful. Makes me feel so nostalgic and relaxed. Wow!!
Как же это прекрасно!!!!💪🏽💪🏽🙏🙏🙏
The Midnight simply blows me away and recently, I just felt in love with this track so damn bad... The vid also rocks - I watched Point Break again few days back because of it :)
"MY FAVORITE 😍FOREVER"
Did anyone else get actual chills through their body when Jonny uncuffed Bodhi ? I mean that was such a beautiful moment to me.
