Nice carbon tank!
Thank you. It is actually a Tank cover which helps me a lot with the 2" higher seat of the race fairings. More tank to hold onto :)
@@MonoMoto Cool! Just so you know, I am looking forward to your next video - Gilles Clip On install...I have '20 S1K that I also take to the track...will probably do the same upgrade!
@@dhjoseph that's great to know 👍. I have most of the work done just waiting for a delayed amazon order to finally complete that job. Should be on youtube in the next few days 😊
@@dhjoseph Update - work is done now I just have to go through 3 hours of video to cut together something helpful. Making these is a lot of work 😅
@@MonoMoto I can only imagine! Can’t wait to see it. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, dont know why, but anyone upload videos that teach us how to replace a battery in a BMW S1000
And hey, that thing (pads) for keeping the batt in its place, you should not recommend to do. There is a metallic piece that you are missing that should be easy to order and cheaper … I can send pics if you want
I explained in the video that I do it because I run track fairings. For the OEM bike it is not needed due to how the seat is keeping the battery in place.
On a road version would you have to reset the date and time on the dash disconnecting the battery . I do have the MOTO SCAN APP with the OBD adaptor
Yes date gets reset but you can simply set it through the normal config menu in the display no app needed
Do you happen to know the size of the battery bolts(Size, Length and Pitch)? I just got a used one and don't have the correct bolts. Wanted to go grab bolts instead of ordering from bmw
I don’t but if you call your local bmw parts guy they be able to look it up for you .
The amount of videos you put out you should change your name to ArMAX
😂😂 it's raining in SF and well the track season has started so I better get that bike in shape.
Had some parts lying around for months - finally getting it all on the bike. 😇
