One of Rossi’s best ever races, and one of my favourite races of all time. This is where everyone knew Rossi was back. He ended 2014 well and everyone wondered whether he would be a title contender again in 2015… then he came and started like this to confirm it.

What a ride from Rossi on an under powered Yam,, 83rd in such nail biting form. Many thanks Rossi for the race....
I remember watching the race live. Up until the last corner, I was convinced that Dovi would catch him out of the slipstream. But Rossi went into that last corner with such a speed that it was crazy. No idea how he did that on the last lap (since Dovi scored his personal best lap in the last one as well). On the motogp website, there was the helicopter angle and you could see in there how he carried so much corner speed in there in the last lap that it was hard to believe.
I'd agree. it looks like Rossi saved all of the M1 potential in the last lap, and released it all at the final lap.

how these Ducattis are so fast on the straight?Rossi is a living Legend...i love this guy..you can see him how he moves on the bike like no other...Big Brain and BIG BIG Heart in that body...the other riders are so good,but he is something else.

Valentino Rossi - this is one of the top 3 best race ever MotoGP had with two legends fighting with perfection & the voice of legend Gavin Emmett last 3-4 laps was nerve twisting....
The tyre choice Rossi does needs to be taught like a chapter to upcoming young riders , these days we hardly hears these , mostly all fits soft in the nonsense electronics era....
Last three laps how Rossi was so powerfull.... Felt dovizioso was nothing in front of him in the last lap ... Feeling blessed to watch these match live... those days will be a sweet memory lifelong

2015 race philips island australia awal mula marques bantu 99 dan berlanjut di sepang,padahal 93 sdh tdk memperebutkan jurdun 2015 hanya 46 dan 99 yg berpeluang jurdun,VR umur 36 msh bs bersaing untk memperebutkan jurdun,nah klo 93 umur 27 dah g bs bersaing d depan malah jd the king of tukang nyeruduk and nyungsep 😂😂

MotoGP was never the same after this season. I had never seen a title be decided by a 3rd party with the sole intent of wrecking the leading rider. Amazing.

Wish Dorna would look closely at these older races, look how much closer the racing is than it is now. It breaks my heart does modern motoGP all the races are the same with massive field spread. I’m sure it’s the aerodynamics they’ve introduced. They don’t even look like bikes anymore.

Before this move 57:53 from Rossi, I wasn’t sure if he could hold off that ducati of Dovizioso. But when he made that move, it instantly remind me of the exactly same move he did on Lorenzo back in historic Catalunya 2009. And I became 100% sure that Rossi is gonna win the race here in Qatar. The way Rossi leaned hard on the last corners, Dovizioso could not match, at turn 16 the leg didnt stay out too long and he accelerated much earlier, which confused the Ducati, thats why Dovizioso made a mistake
