- One of the cooler features in each new rendition of the Monster Energy Supercross games are The Compound that comes with each version. This time, the crew at Milestone have created at large environment that they say resembles "Maine" in the northeastern United States. Sit back and enjoy some action from The Compound!

I would like to see a huge forest where you could make your own trails throughout it. With the ability to add your own jumps, creeks, rocks etc.
Would also be awesome if the compound was online

I live right outside of maine in it's neighboring state, definitely some amazing riding around here when it's not snowing our winter is a bit over 6 months which isn't exactly great lol
I live in maine and I can definitely say that's true. I have a dirtbike and it's hard to ride it because half of our season is winter and the other half is preparing for winter. Mainenis a very rough state to live in.
They need to make like a gncc game
Brian Black`s idea is pretty sweet, have like a couple somewhat of track editor spaces within the compound, I would add that I think it would be awesome to just have some huge gaps and freestyle like ramps to hit, maybe put more collectables at the peak arcs of those jumps and maybe reward the player with a cool bike upgrade that could be used in career when your not on a factory team for collecting them all.
The compound is awesome, but I don’t like the day/night cycle because it gets so dark you can’t see a damn thing lol.
Haha, yeah it does get super dark right when the sun goes down for some reason but then lightens back up with the moon. Weird
You can make it so its always day. Thats what i do

Going off of your mx game idea I've always thought it would be really cool to have a Mashup of like a American truck similator style where you like travel from track to track by actually driving and then you do your weekend motos and travel to the next and could stop like wherever along the way

HiDez compounds. Free Ride hills, sick natural terrain MX, flat spots for SX, far side of the map can be mountainside so you can get the tree's and trails included.
Replica I think Ironman MX as a compound would be good. The track itself is good, has the Ironman GNCC surrounding it and its in Indiana so convert the parking lot to a few SX tracks

To look more like Maine there would have to be a shit ton more vegetation and trees

I would like to see something in the rockys with a outdoor track like how the mxgp games have outdoor and a Supercross track
I have been to Acadia national park in Maine and I would say that this is pretty accurate. Obviously except that the entire state isn’t a motocross compound.

A moto version of GTA would be sick. Something with all different types of racing; GNCC, Hard Enduro, Motocross, Supercross, Flat Track, Freeride, Freestyle, the whole 9 yds. A mix of Ride, Mx vs Atv, GTA, MESX, and all new things with different disciplines of racing and you choose your style. If you choose SX/MX, you can race both seasons, indoors and outdoors. The only problem is something like this would absolutely demolish even the best of pc’s and console’s

Why cant milestone make a freaking Lucas oil pro motocross game?! Do you unlock more parts of the compound? The compound tracks aren’t my favorite, they are too tight, and to small. I love the buildings, they are a nice feature. The MX track is so much better than in 3! They blocked off too much. Cool compound, it is so beautiful! Great vid! (If I could build my own compound, I would build half nature, then half city!)
Milestone can't make a game that another game company (Rainbow Studios) already owns the license to.

Uhh... they won't? lol. There's always a real Supercross and MXGP series every year for them to 3D scan all the tracks and riders again for and sell another version of the game

I wasn’t sure about 3 at first. But I do like it a lot now. Not sure how I feel about 4. Seems more arcade. I heard “mx pro” was good. I only own supercross 2 and 3.

Pro, or "Special Edition", comes with a few extra DLC packs, the Season pass (which auto installs any future DLC), and you can also get the game three days early with it
I think you went the wrong way on the freestyle jump track

im kinda tired of these games i recently got into mx bikes and thats a real challenge compared to supercross/mxgp. i just wish mx bikes looked as good as those games
man that compound seems really boring lol. Like yes its scenic, but its so mellow. All the jumps on the SX track are mellow. It doesn't seem like there's hardly any fun hill jumps. Those freestyle ramps left a bad taste in my mouth lol. I know you can just play MVA all out if you want all that. But I'd like to see it here too. Put in some steep grass hills with a narrow dirt lip carved into the side of it lol. I found a couple spots like that in MESX 3 compound, and with the right manipulation you could actually get some fun whips going.

can someone please help me, i downloaded a track for mx simulator, extracted it with winRAR, put it in the personal folder, and yet it doesnt show up. help
You likely dropped the track into a different track folder within your personal folder. Make sure you can actually see the track .saf or file in your personal folder correctly
@@StartYourSystems I can. It says Round 3 Indianapolis 3 in the bottom of the folder but still doesn’t show up
Did you download the Houston 1 track? It has the object pack you need for all of the rounds

Spent 60 somthing on the game and was excited. Used to mess with these types of games as a youngn but the shit was so hard even on super easy. It is now the game i regret buying most in my life. Shits trash
The physics are the only thing holding this franchise back for me. Until they sort them out I won’t buy there games

The compound is the biggest reason il might skip this game. I want something fun that I can play with friends. Cool tracks, Hill climbs, free style area. This looks very boring.
I think they need to let us customize our compound. Use the track editor and give us space to build. Or let us download cusontoze tracks to place. This would keep it fresh and interesting. As is, you just ride around for 40 mins and you're bored of it
Dude, Kellen, you seem to have a hard time saying somthing's really, really bad :P haha. "So yeah... hmmm, uh, theres this i guess.. Cant get there though..." etc. Which is fine. It's pretty obvious Milestone has zero idea what would make a decent "compound". They even failed at the replica test tracks in 3. I'll still buy the game and support it but it's a little ridiculous how bad these compounds are. I mean, maybe build atleast one of the 4 SX tracks like the actual career mode tracks? Nah? Let's just throw random vet tracks together in an awkwardly executed environment with zero thought. Cool! It is what it is, but it does get a little irritating seing this stuff repeat itself year after year. This is ZERO effort. Weird how something as poorly done as the compounds keep existing within the same game as the season replica tracks. Even more weird how they don't understand how bad of an effort it is. "Well, ill just hang out here until the sunrise...should be pretty" - Famous last words of any "amazing open world" track review.
*sighs* yeah... I'm an optimist and generally a pretty positive guy but I was disappointed with this compound no question. I know some people will like it but I just don't and it's hard to argue against everything you said
@@StartYourSystems hahah yes, kinda figured that was a Kellen-level Roast, nothing wrong with being nice though. Save it for your next Renthal Rant. And yes, i try to be optimistic too but man it's getting a bit frustrating with Milestone. Some physics stuff are whatever, i get that. Not an easy fix. But tracks, especially the compound - that's just lazy / poor design. Not to mention the tiny tracks seem to work against the physics engine even more. I'd like to have sat in on the meeting where they went "Hey bros, remember that COD-like XP/Skill tree that everyone hated in 2? Yeah! Let's bring that back! And whoever deletes the most gear options we've had before gets a raise!"... Not rushing to the game store today...but ill get there..
