yeah man I know exactly what you is explaining and I know how is not easy to explain it with out sounding crazy because a person has to have done a ton of I'll fx tuning and changing of bass to know exactly what you is saying because even in a manual for tings or any thing like dat dey don't even try to explain this
And you is TOTALY correct saying dat sub bass is not to be used as de main sound of bass line becaus sub bass is what you said it is
and dat is for making all other samples dat have base it fx de bass in all other samples and sub base is a kind of sound dat is not REALY a sound by its self it works to lift other samples
like dub step making de beat wobble is with de sound you don't REALY hear dats what sub bass is because using fx on sub bass changes de fx on all other samples
Plus dats how to make dub step crazy wag wah hahaha ahhhh yaya eeeee ooo aaahhh whah whah dub step bass is using sub bass and using fx and chopping dat and fade in and fade out and gain that way this way and some chops reverse
