  • hallo lovely ppl! the last few weeks have been a little tough for me mentally and there are some things I need to change to feel like myself again.
I'm putting effort into my self care habits and routines with balance, discipline and self love - I want to take time for myself in the morning, I want to nourish my body with delicious and healthy food every day and I want to exercise daily. I also want to dedicate more time to my creativity and reduce my screen time at the same time.
These are my self-care habits that I want to incorporate into my daily routine that need to fit into my everyday life with a 9-5 job. Let me know if you might incorporate some of these habits into your daily routine or any other habits that have helped you lately!

Re weights at gyms, remember that those people are there to care about their bodies rather than yours, and whilst it may seem scary etc, those who are really into it always like to advise and see people trying their best, so you shouldn't see it as a negative to train with the weights, just takes some confidence :)

true, I'm just a bit anxious & I feel awkward easily 😅plus my gym is always super busy so that area is always rammed 🥲

@@johanna.helena yeah the busy-ness can be the worst! I'm glad I can train when the gym is a bit quieter!

my ultimate self care is to get coffee outside, in perfect world in a cafe. This is the biggest prize for my hard work somehow.

Painting is a great therapy! I'm starting to do it too although I feel like my paintings are not so good but who cares?! We judge ourselves too hard sometimes, specially when doing something artistic 🤷🏻‍♀️. Saludos!! ☺️💕

I always work with music at my office, or listening news. My boss does the same. I am agree, we need to take breaks. I am trying to leave the phone on weekends at home, and what I did recently is that I am using again my photo camera and taking pictures because I was tired to go walk, to museums, etc always with the phone in my hand...

This was such an entertaining and inspiring content. I truly enjoy how you approach everything, work, cooking, and especially painting, always with a smile and quite witty. Your book shelf is impressive and I would love to know if book recommendations or sharing impressions of what you enjoy reading, would be a future content idea? Thank you. 😊

From some times ago until now, I'm trying to be commited to stay away from mobile phone during my study sessions, but sometimes this mission is quite difficult because some of the subjects are boring af 🥲. Usually I make some walks to rest my eyes from the mobile and PC screen because I can't be productive when my eyes are tired. It's so much better rest for a while and getting back with my energies charged for a new study round rather than keeping pushing hard and keep being unproductive as well. P.S: now I'm watching your videos because I need to improve my English to get into some jobs where I need to be fluent or have a great comprehension and speaking level, although your accent sometimes is a bit difficult to understand, not gonna lie hahahah

lol I feel you - maybe try the pomodoro technique (working in intervals) 🍅good luck with your English - the German accent still comes through even after almost 5 years in the UK👀
