      Dang! Nothing?! Sorry to hear that. There is always hope and it’s proven that everyone is different. What the spine looks like on image vs what you feel can be very different things. When I work with patients everyone’s definition of “helped” is different but it does take time and commitment to move the needle

    Have loads of water … lack of water worsen back pain , the spine is dehydrated with leaves to the process of degenarion . And everything can be healed . Don’t loose hope and don’t listen to people who are saying nothing

    So for those of us who have had psoriatic arthritis and osteo arthritis in our backs since our 30s, we need to just accept that we're getting old? Great. Thanks for that expert advice. Nothing like making a video to leave people feeling hopeless.

    • @TheResilientSpine

      Sorry to hear that Linda and that's the exact opposite I want people to feel. The hope is that our body is resilient and that with age things change but that doesn't mean anyone will have pain. Some days are better than others, but there is always hope.

    Field electromagnetic therapy; ultrasound therapy combined with exercise (included kynesiology guided ones: see Conor Harris or Filippo Saggin channels for instance), and low carb diet help a lot and may revert possible autoimmune root causes -- traditional medicine of course doesn't tell you.

      Thanks for the question Nancy! Degenerative disc disease isn't really a disease its common in those who live on this earth. Wrinkles on your spine that often don't cause discomfort. Curing it medically is impossible but most don't care what they have they just want to feel better. That is absolutely possible

    Let me just say this. THERE IS NO CURE FOR DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE!!!
    You can workout at the gym to strengthen the muscles around your spine so that it's not as painful, or maybe even pain free, but there is absolutely no cure!
    You may help it even more by changing your diet and eating only healthy foods. Staying hydrated is very, very important. Dehydration equals dry discs and creates even more pain. Different types of massages, treatments help.
    BUT THERE IS NO CURE! I can't believe this guy's even on CZcams. 😒

    • @TheResilientSpine
      @TheResilientSpine Před 8 měsíci

      Hi there! You are correct there is not a cure in the way that other widespread diseases are cured. The entire name is a misnomer which makes us lead to believe there is a cure. The fact that people are looking for cure tells me that the medical system is letting them down. What you mention, and what I mention daily, is the power of movement, lifestyle changes, and mindset changes. In the end, who cares what changes in the spine are called when you receive an X-ray or MRI as long as the pain remains managed and you keep your body strong, no DDD can bring you down! (it's this education that people need to keep them from getting more images and more risky interventions, which has been proven to increase healthcare costs and pain down the road) That's why I have this channel and many other resources to help those receive the education they should have early on)

      @@henryquenin6580 I am not sure what to say. DDD is something that people can overcome. A mindshift change with education and a new way of doing things has helped many of my clients. I understand it may be frustrating but my intention is to help people no longer think of it as a disease. Its as common as wrinkles on your skin but for some reason its classified as a disease.
