Great plains makes a good drill. Heavy duty. I bought a 14 foot older drill at auction for 300.00 and cut it down to one 7 foot box with 11 openers to make a small plot drill. Rebuilt the metering boxes with metal wheels instead of the plastic ones. Some paint and a few more odds and ends and it looks like new. New 6 footer from Great Plains was 16,000. When I added everything up I think I had about 2500,00 in it. Going to add some coulters to it and make it no till. I think they should have gone with metal metering wheels but that is just me......
One of the biggest differences between alfalfa hay and grass hay is the protein content. On average, alfalfa hay has much higher levels of protein, ranging from 15% to 21% depending on when the alfalfa was cut. This is much higher than the protein levels of grass hay, which typically contains 10% or less protein.lmao

We can't afford to lose you thru' a bad back can we !! Tell us - from your POV why do cabs have so much glass real estate ( as you guys call it ? ) but you grow screen vegetation on it ?
culmalachie I thought I was sitting up pretty straight,could be the camera angle,my back is good.As far as all the glass in these cabs goes,I think consumers (us)have requested to make these cabs bigger.

How much alfalfa did you plant this year?
Applerockdairy 1456 typically we seed 350-400 annually. We'll do a summer seeding in August Once we take wheat off.
