Stephen A Smith is one of the most well known NBA basketball journalists, as he provided us with many funny moments throughout his career on ESPN and First Take. But he’s also had some terrible predictions that he was very bold in making. Like his streak of predicting the Finals wrong, saying the 2012 Miami Heat were done, hating on the Porzingis pick, and more. But there’s also a few very weird things that he’s said. Like disrespecting the Nigerian basketball team after they beat Team USA, and also going as far to say that Michael Jordan contributed to making the game WORSE! Kevin Durant got on his head, just like JJ Redick and CJ McCollum. This is the worst of Stephen A Smith.

The worst SAS's take ever regarding sport was not about basketball. It was about MMA. He said something along the lines that quitting is built in the sport cause fighters tap out. Yes, Stephen they do tap out to acknowledge the fight is actually over. Contrary to what Hollywood shows us - you cannot escape a poper rear naked choke, a kimura or other submission holds. It's as if saying that quitting is built in chess becasue a grandmaster resigns when sees that getting checkmated is unavoidable and there's no point in prolonging one's own execution.
Eh ngl I think Stephen was a little bit right on the last point, everyone tries to act the hero nowadays in the NBA. There was countless times this playoff season alone where players tried to carry their teams on their own backs (except Jokic lol, fair enough to him his help this season was injured or trash)
Could you elaborate on who? If Giannis, he pretty much had to without Middleton and Jrue chucking 30 shots per game, but idk who else
@@WillSoTrill First that comes to mind right away, would be Jimmy in game 7. 98-96 Horford was guarding him but i really don't think he would have contested... Instead he shot a three, and people argue all the time that he was playing phenomenally the whole game (which he was) but I don't think that's a real excuse. Who know's how the finals could have ended up if Jimmy had taken his way to the hoop and got the easy layup.

SAS is a funny guy, other than that he’s been wrong multiple times but he’s just human. Thankfully there are people like him and I can appreciate analysts like him.
