I am and will always be one of the biggest fans the band Roxette could ever have. And when Marie Fredriksson past away I was genuinely saddened. Normally when any singer attempts to cover great songs it usually doesn't work. But I have to say to Andie Case if you ever read this, this was very very good. Thank you for respecting the song and not over singing it as people tend to do. This was very well done. Marie I believe would have been proud. (-:

I am a huge fan of Roxette and you have more than done justice to this, I have rarely heard a cover get all the subtle inflections right in the vocals, but this is bang on. You give Marie's original vocals a run for their money, and that is no mean feat. Well Done. Alex as ever a brilliant musician.
Being from Sweden, this song by Roxette and Marie Fredriksson has a special place in my heart. Fantastic job both of you!

I remember talking to Alex (Goot) waaay back when he was still living in his NY apartment. Hadn't hit the scene at all yet. I went my own direction in the business, and started hearing his name again a few years later and realized he EXPLODED online. So proud of him

Glad you enjoyed. I love her work (my absolute favorite of hers is 'Don't Speak'), but I was not feeling this cover at all. The vibrato was killin it for me. Throwing out a suggestion for someone who I think killed it...both Kathleen Williams and Mark Masri have versions I love.
Andie, I'm sure you hear this all the time, but your voice is amazing. Imperfectly perfect. The microscopic inconsistencies and breaks make your voice unique and memorable. Good bumps on the choruses. +1 fan.

It doesn't matter if you are into metal, rock, gothic or whatever, you just can't deny that this song is a classic - like many other Roxette songs. They don't make songs like this anymore nowadays - which is a pitty.

This was fantastic!!! I think I like this better than Roxette's version. I remember when it first came out just in time for my first real heartbreak. I wore out this spot on my cassette. I loved the original but this stripped down version is so much more viceral, and sung with such connection. I love it! This is my first time hearing your music and I gotta say, Im a fan!
