I've used Stihl,Troybilt,Husqvarna and several cheap brands.
It's balanced real well...and the auto load trim line head is the best thing ever created on a trimmer...I cut string about 6ft and slide it thru and twist the head until it is loaded up...ITS THAT SIMPLE...I LOVE THIS weed trimmer.

I'm considering this trimmer but can't find any specs on the horsepower rating. Do you know what it is? If not, what do you think of the power? It may seem insignificant, but 2 or 3 tenths of a horsepower rating makes a big difference with small engines. Also, solid drive shaft or flex?

Bump the head on the grass while it's running, and it'll release the spool ratchet mechanism one notch, and feed out a small length. You'll hear the sound change from the longer length.
Don't bump it too many times or it'll just waste string, because the guard cuts off any excess.

Actually as a lawn care pro, the shaft doesn't create nor take away power. That's all in the motor guy!

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use czcams.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.
