You are doing a beautiful job on America. Showing the people that the main stream media tends to ignore. It is similar to your approach to Russia I assume.
Hey, you are so different kind of person, you are showing Russian different communities and their culture and lifestyle. It's very new to me. Thanks for making this kind of videos. We can learn about these kind of people. Keep rocking 👍👍👍👍 Anyhow am from INDIA.
Love the mountains of VA, TN, GA Very interesting people, friends...!!!! I live in SE Alabama...but head to the Appalachian Mtns for vacation. Thanks for your visit to the USA. Happy travels.
Another gem of a video, thanks slava and lena . Natural landscapes have another level of magnetism of their own. You just relax and start feeling tranquil. Beautiful, beautiful places you guys are visiting and sharing with us. Great job, bro! 👍 Maybe in future you'll take us on the tour of Mesmerising КАМЧАТКА, Russia's own LAND OF FIRE AND ICE. Cheers, have a safe journey! 😊
Slava, my wife and I have been watching your videos for months now and GREATLY enjoy them! It's almost like you and Lana are family. Keep up the great work and we'll look forward to every one of them. And welcome back to the U.S.!
Love your videos. You are bringing the people of Russia and America closer together and helping all of us to understanding that we all, Russian and Americans just want to live in peace. Thank you for all your efforts to accomplish this goal.
" Host " I was staying the weekend at Oxanna Trofimova- Nidental dacha she could not get the pancake just right she was so upset that she was not the perfect hostess. Looks like you are getting the same treatment in America , rural people are always great ! From down Under
It was interesting when you were in Russia and went to Stalin's {or Lenin's} boyhood home. The older woman came out of the house and spoke to you. She had 2 sons, one lived with her and was a Christian preacher, the other was a farmer. She had been to the U.S. and told you that you don't need to go into a church building to worship God. I could tell she was a bible-believing Christian. Those are the most valuable people in any country, because they have a proper faith. I prayed for your family.
But churches (not megachurches) are great for community building. You can form great connections with people in the church and even find your romantic partner there like most do.
Great vid Slava. And good choice of music for the various scenes. About sunburn, you and Lana should get a little layer of sun before you get to Destin. You can burn like a French fry in one hour on the white sand beach there. Have fun!
Aww how sweet! Thanks for bringing us this video of your visits with the kindest families in Virginia, and with your friend George. I know Hazel Walker from Virginia, and I wonder if she's related to the families that run the Amish store in Pearisburg?🥧🌞 Happy travels Slava and Lana!
I really love your vids amazing content and great quality 👍😊 Keep on doing fantastic vids, many regards to both of you from Croatia 🇭🇷🙂 Na zdravlje 👌(that's in Croatian) 😉
That's the most beautiful group of children, happy, healthy and such a joy to share their animals. Thank you Slava for featuring parts of America, few Americans know exist.
You really have some great friends! So nice of them to invite you to spend some quality time with them and to share with us. Hope your having a great time and experience visiting here. Really great videos, thanks!
What a nice video in such a great landscape. Congrats to the family for their way aising up their kids in a very nice environment with so much nature and animals around. This only one year ago and I cross my fingers that George will be able to meet Slava and Lena in a different and better Russia.
Slava, Smoky mountains...why when my friends and we’re young, with not a whole lot of brain power, we were passing through the Smoky mountains and thought it would be a wonderful idea to run through the forest with no flashlights late at night. Well only years later it occurred to us that there were bears 8n that forest. We were lucky we never had such an encounter...
Thanks Slava. Great episode. Great adventure. Your friend who made the space at Lover's Leap is a very kind man. Too bad people take such advantage of kindness. We live in Virginia, just about an hour and a half up the road (I-81).
We always enjoy seeing you and your girlfriend! Hope you had great trip! You came very close to my house in Georgia! Where you are always welcome! Have a good trip and be safe! Thank you so much for sharing your trip. Also I enjoy all of your family. I can't remember have you and Lena married?
I am local to the area. I learned the log cabin down the road from George is built by the namesake of Blacksburg, John Black. It was built in the 1780s originally on land that is now Virginia Tech. It was moved near George’s home in 1962.
I loved meeting the homeschooling family~ what lovely people! I also homeschooled my kids and I LOVE what doing that gave our family. 😊😊 much love & happiness, & God Bless from Idaho, USA. 😊😊😊
@@anthonykleon1279 Well, since the Russian government privatized their Highway , awesome raids have been built . Drove through many and I can confirm .
From what I’ve seen of Russia the big cities have very good infrastructure similar to the US but they are not keeping up with the amount of automobiles. The countryside in the smaller areas have lower quality roads some of which seem new and others quite old. This is true to varying degrees in the US but on a larger scale. The biggest difference is that Russian infrastructure seems fairly new wow infrastructure in the US is extensive but quite old. A big push to renew US infrastructure is on right now. Also a major difference between the US and Russia is that by law no subdivisions can be built without infrastructure to include paved roads and sewage. I see very nice houses in Russia on dirt roads and it seems quite strange compared to the North America or W. Europe.
Hi Slava and Lena glad you are enjoying the trips in US. Your videos are so fun to watch! I love the families and Lena prevented you from jumping off heart break ridge! That made me laugh!

This is what I love about America as an European. Such diverse and beautiful livelihoods if you go outside of the cities. It's sad that people want to turn more of the US into a cosmopolitan dystopia were people are nothing but a cog in the system and live in a pod.
I have lived in Virginia since 1968, and very much enjoyed your videos. The one in Charlottesville was particularly fun as I live in Nelson county where you picked strawberries!
If you come to the United States again, you might like to explore an interesting subculture of the Amish people who are concentrated around Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Shipshewana, Indiana. They do not use electric appliances and their culture centers around farming with horses. One Amish man told me that his horse responded to 43 different commands. Once I did a job for American Indians from Oklahoma. The horses lingered around close to us and the Indian told them in a normal voice to go down and wait at the gate and the horses casually walked down toward the gate and waited there.
Growing up like that is the best way to grow up. In the country. You didnt get the full Cracker Barrell southern experience. Next time order the country fried steak, fried catfish or fried chicken. And some veggies like mac n cheese, turnip green or green beans corn bread and sweet tea.
The Appalachian mountains are among the oldest mountains in the world... and the New River which is shown in this video is considered the second oldest river in the world at an estimated 360 million years. I've lived and traveled through this region for the past fifty years... some of the most beautiful country anywhere on earth.
They don’t look like ethnic Jews, by that, I meant Semitic group of people; they are either converts or old school, very conservative Christians. They probably believe in Jesus, while most Jews traditional and religiously speaking, just don’t; unless they are messianic Jews and in that case they would have looked just like their middle eastern brethren, I.E Arabic and North African people.
while i agree that those people in this video probably are not ethnic jews, but rather just a conservative christian group, i've to tell you that most jews dont like other semitic peoples like arabs, at all , let alone north africans, they're very distinct .... Jews are genetically a Levantine-South European mix, many of them actually look european and are genetically more similar to an european, specially to Italians than they are to an Arab and semitic is not a race/genetic group.Maybe Mizrahi , some sephardic and Bene Israelians can resemble at times the arabs but if we're talking about american/european jews , which are for the most part Ashkenazi, well they are more european than "semitic" or lets say way more correctly and appropiate Levantine.
You haven't never seen anything like the Sequoyah Cedar Trees in Northern California! Or the entire Pacific's coast! BREATHTAKING AND WE HAVE LOTS OF GAS!!
Those kids are definitely not the average kids you would see in your area. They're smart and talkative for their age, their parents sure did a fantastic job teaching them to live for God and be respectful to other's. You'll never see non-religion people with their personality.
What a beautiful part of America 🇺🇸 and what a beautiful family. God bless them, and Gabriela is so wholesome. Bless her soul.
