I can actually seeing this snowballing saying that Adventist programming is very harmful to children.
My daughters grew up without social media and were very happy go lucky kids, once they became teenagers on social media my wife and i saw a big difference

I use to spend ALOT of time online when I was younger and now suffer with bad depression but we didn't have social media or any of that back than on AOL but we did have chat rooms

This is a double edge sword. We as adults need smart/social media this is good. Government getting their foot in social media always sounds good, but eventually controls/weaponize. The only solution for child and teen under 18 can't have a smart phone, just a old phone just to make calls and GPS. Only access to internet is at home pc the monitors and if need by lock and key.

Certain social media should not be accessible by kids. 18 and older for much of it.

Um…we get mental health problems in any season of the year. Do we need a surgeon general warning due to the summer being to hot.
My point is that the whole surgeon general warning is useless to be very honest. I mean you see surgeon general warnings on cigarettes and people ignore it….teenagers buy cigarettes with fake id or from thier friends and parents that smoke
It’s just my opinion because parents need to be parents. Kids maturity is different for every kid and I’m not a doctor at all but people will ignore the surgeon general warnings anyway.
If you are gonna warn people about kids using social media then why take it away from them while waiting for food at a restaurant so that they don’t get into trouble or on long trips meaning driving hours to the vacation spot.
I will never give a phone to my children until they reach at least 18
