Very true about lubricant for the zipper because my first purchase I had the damage zipper as you stated but tbh even with the busted zipper it still keep things cold lol that’s how awesome the cooler is. I’m going to get another one today. Great review

Daily for 3 years is more than the average consumer will use this. One should buy with confidence that this will last for years. Owned a RTic 8 soft for almost 4 years with LIGHT use. Maybe a handful of times a year and the inside started coming apart. It only cost me about 65-75 bucks but made me think it was not a great quality if I only used it for that long and it was always stored after using.
Agreed thanks for the insight that this product will last years on an average persons use and if you want to use it for a daily lunchbox it will hold up if you take care of it. Thanks again.

Yeti has some great products, we have loads of insulated bottles! The cooler bags over here in 🇦🇺 are pretty expensive though!
Agreed, they are quite expensive but are of really great quality in my opinion.

I just bought the hopper 12 (still waiting for it in the mail) then decided. I wanted the yeti ice(separate order) and by watching all the reviews on the hopper 12 realized I needed the sidekick. 😂still waiting for all the separate orders in the mail.🤣

For that kind of money they want for it, what kind of warranty is on this thing. It should have lifetime warranty on it That will really justify the price on it.
They actually have a great warranty and are quite lenient with their fixes and such. I have heard nothing but good things with their warranty process so far but I'm sure there are some bad stories out there. I will tell you this that you are paying for a really well built product with really robust materials. I have beat this thing up for years as a daily driver and only a few small spots on the zipper have begun to fail. You can't go wrong with this product if you want it to last years.
Yeti has a fantastic warranty. Contact them, they’ll likely replace it for free.

I understand your point but this bag has gone through 3+ years of daily use and it's still great to use to keep things cold. I would buy this again to be honest.
@@KenPeriman But one day the zipper will fail. And i don’t want to constantly check if it has enough lube. And it is also a pain to use it. Especially when you are drinking beer fast and need to open it a few times an hour.
Really hope they do one with magnets, than its perfect.

@@visfanaat8188 Get an M20. Magnet and more than enough room for an 18-20 pack. Durable as it gets and wonderful for the lake.
