    Thank you mam for providing such kind of knowledge it helps us a lot. Firstly, I will check the level of blood sugar as patient is NBM so if blood sugar level is less then 300 then may be I will not give insulin and if more then 300 or 350 then according to insulin scale will give insulin….
    I hope u will correct my knowledge if m wrong in this answer

    Insulin is to be given: insulin should not be missed even if the patient is NPO or having extreme stress. Infact in extreme stress conditions insulin dose is increased by doctors.

    Firstly i will give check the blood glucose level than in results is high level of glucose in blood... Than after we administrated the insulin before Surgerical procuder...
