I'm not in this video, getting way up there in age, but the stoke of watching a Bruce Brown movie once per year kept us stoked year round. We'd see still photos in magazines & say "I could do that." or "There's no possible way he made that wave." Now I can watch surfing on demand on the internet. These guys are very good, some great, others not from this planet, but to me, the best surfers are the ones who make it look easy. Paddle out, duckdive a few, swivel, maybe a 2 stroke standup, and finish your ride on your feet out the back. It takes incredible skill to do this, on a small piece of wet, waxed fiberglass, on a sometimes shifting, but always changing wave face. Part of me is jealous, part stoked, but always filled with respect, assuming you're following basic surf etiquette. Nothing worse than someone skilled, that knows the rules, but uses status to drop in, shoulder hop, etc. I trust these are all stand up fellas, so ..... Excellent surfing, filming, water photog (the real crazy ones), soundtrack. Hodad burger's on me net time you're in Ocean Beach, SD
30:00 such an incrediblle way that wave set up, that was truly massive outer reef pipe and Mason Ho picked a Pipe gun to outrace that walll, no way would he have made any of those barrels on a 6'3 or 6'4, he must have been on atleast a 7'6

The soundtrack contains depraved lyrics. I just happened to hear some of the end of the soundtrack and it horrified me that this could be viewed by young children.

The soundtrack contains sacrilegious filth. Exposes a lack of reverence for God, who created these beautiful waves and oh by the way, the people that are surfing them. No respect- just a complete lack of regard for what should be revered and respected. Pathetic. Just reduces all of this to self-indulgent Pride.
