Splatoon 1 VS Splatoon 3 Inkopolis Side by Side Comparison + Analysis

Wave 1 of Splatoon 3's DLC dropped yesterday and I decided to make a quick side by side comparison and commentary of all the changes made to the new Inkopolis Square for you all. Hope you're all having a great day as usual :)

They still do the regular wave from Splatoon 1 as well, but it's before you complete the story mode. If you complete the story mode, they greet you differently like Deep Cut as well.

Nobody ever mentions the MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE! The Jellies have NO WATER to dip their gross tentacle hands in to drink!

I really like how the changes in the Plaza feel realistic/believable in the 8-year gap between the games. Only a handful of things changed, mostly to build upon and improve the place, but it is overall unmistakably the same place the OG fans grew up in.
R.I.P. The dancing Inklings, though... I don't get why they would remove that. That spot could've easily have gotten its own name or something, in which it is tradition for Inklings and Octolings to dance whenever they're standing there.

I just Love Both versions of the Plaza in Splatoon 1 and 3! When side order is complete I think we can unlock that Splatoon 2 plaza and I’d be Happy!!!!!

Sometimes the way that the towns can be changed to fit Splatoon 3 make me wonder if they planned that when they first made the original game.
