Well technically you can beat the survival night levels without sunflowers if you plant sun shrooms instead if I'm not mistaken. I know they're disqualified from the challenge, but if you look past that, the sunflowers can still be no more.

I'll go ahead and spare you the trouble: PvZ 2 is impossible to beat without Sunflower. Certain levels will require an amount of Sun in order to complete, and the falling sun just generally doesn't count. Sadly, it's impossible to beat the game sunflower-less.

Try completing the hard survival of each “worlds” with the plants that are given by it in adventure mode
