They have a big problem with birth rates in Korea and Japan. I read that in the year 2050 the elderly (above 65) will make up about 50% of the population in Korea. They aren't having enough children

Not a lot of people go out of their way to interact with kids. I have even heard psychopaths say that they "hate" kids. So, while these two have certainly seen little kids before (they must have younger cousins or nieces/nephews, right?), they have probably never interacted with a stranger's kid before.
Technically the title said "meet", not "see" a cute kid for the first time. But even then I don't believe that. I suspect like 40% of "first time" videos on CZcams aren't really the first time and this is just more of the same. View count > truthfulness.
