I had a much smaller 4.5 cubic foot Norcold. It was true to its common derogatory name, "never cold".

Really appreciate the videos. Sometimes you just want to know about one thing (like this fridge) and don't want to spend a long time watching a full lengthy video. These are perfect and get right to the point!

Great video! The level adjustment buttons on the top/front are very confusing. I had them backward on mine for several days and couldn't figure out why the refrigerator wasn't cooling. The button references the freezer/refrigerator by the solid white indicator, not the black square. On mine, the freezer button is on the left and the refrigerator is on the right. Also, in researching proper refrigerator temperatures they should always be below 40 deg f. On mine, level 5 is about 33 deg, level 4 is about 36-37 deg, and level 3 is about 40 deg. Levels 1 and 2 are both above 45 deg (pretty useless for safe food storage). I wish they made them cooler and more granular so we have a finer level of adjustment at all 5 levels all below 40 deg f.
What is your experience with maintenance/repair issues? Any complaints from your customers? These are pretty much solid state, throw away units. Also, I called Norcold customer service when I was having issues figuring out the setting buttons as described above (yes, I read the manual). They basically refused to talk to me and will only speak with authorized repair techs. So it seems any issues have to go back to the dealer. I'm frustrated with that as I am not thrilled with the dealer repair departments here in Florida. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi! Thank you for watching and for your feedback and insight. The temperature can be affected by a number of factors such as outside and inside air temp, how much is stored inside and how long its been running.
If you have the NorCold N10DCX or N8DCX refrigerator, the dark shaded area is the control for that particular compartment. Please consult the owners manual for your model to ensure you're using the correct one

Shawn, you are absolutely correct about the panel buttons. The number 5 button is the freezer button. On the panel it is white; in the manual it is black. The colors are inverted due to white paper/black panel

@@linf7637 Just came across this video. The colors are inverted in the manual, but the description in the manual still says the LEFT button is for the freezer and the right button is for the fridge. Did anyone ever figure this out? I've watched several videos (other than this one) that also say the same thing about this fridge. My conclusion so far based on all the videos I've watched.. no one knows for sure but everyone is so confident they have the right answer!

On the road right now and our refrigerator door keep opening while traveling Down the road. The latch wasn’t catching on the refrigerator. I ended up moving the catch to the left by drilling 3 new holes just to the left side of the current ones. Now they latch nice and tight. How do you move the door over?

I have the same exact fridge in my trailer and all the lights come on but it doesn't run can you tell me what the problem might be? I have checked the electric supply and fuses and all are good.

I have this fridge on my 25 FB and the refirgerator compartment seems to be very wet is there a drain hose somewhere?
I haven't gotten under there yet because there are a couple of inches of water on the ground (no it did not affect the fridge). Any adive?

Am I the only one that heard him say the button on the left was the fridge and the one on the right is the refrigerator?

Can you switch from Dc to AC ?

Nope because that’s unnecessary, if your hooked up to 120 volts your converter will power it the same way it will off battery
