  • Jalan Kukoh Teochew Kueh always comes to mind at the first mention of Jalan Kukoh Food Centre. Run by the Loh siblings, the 3rd generation owners inherited the stall with over 50 years of history. Their recipe originated from their grandmother, who used to sell kueh in a market at Johor Bahru before the family settled in Singapore.
Every kueh is made by hand through a tedious process. Not only that, the fillings are well-packed with ingredients, keeping closely to the recipe passed down by the predecessors. It is no wonder that their tasty kueh always run low on stock due to high demand. To avoid disappointment, it's better to call in advance and place your orders at 9am.
5 types of kueh are offered - Chi Kak Kueh, Png Kueh, Koo Chai Kueh, Yam Kueh and Soon Kueh. Give all of these a try, and you'll know how good they taste!
Watch the video for a glimpse into the making of the kueh. Brought to you by HappyCat.黑皮猫.
Note: Must pre-order to avoid disappointment.

This is hidden gem in the city. The Kuehs are just right for the old school taste made in traditional method.

I hope this type of food tradition never disappears, but it is labor intensive and a labor of love. All 5 types of kueh are my favorite, cannot just pick one. What is the price per piece? Thank you for sharing and showing this stall.

I always got the right mindset for hard working traditional kueh.. not easy to process the real taste of foods, because once pass down or take over family's members will try their very best to copy the own maker matter to match the Customer need. never be 100% but at least got 90% is good enough.加油。 Teochew kueh family we support you. Your follower care Associate friends. 👍

Have long stop buying from them. They failed those customers who went all the way to their stall and find items sold out due to items set aside for pre-orders. Anyway heard from others standard not as good as before.

They do pre-order since their mother's time to avoid wastage and due to their unique preparation timing. Thus my title : Better pre-order to avoid disappointment.

It’s all handmade and limited edition. One day they could only do this much . This stall I knew for a long time since my grandpa during the early 70s . It’s been pre order mode since 90s and obviously you ain’t that season as a customer.
During earlier days till late 90s , the uncle did fried all the kuehs with carrot cake together to give you the authentic tradition teochew style . Average 1 hour queue is a norm, sadly uncle aging and it stop since he felt down .

Their regular customers usually order one time 100 to 250 per kind of keuh each time , so preorder is a must
