Outside of a nuclear war, it just depends on where the war occurs and to what extent each will take the fight. With all the bases around the world and 11 carrier strike groups, the US has the a better chance of attacking mainland China than China attacking the US with only 2 functional carriers and no base to speak of outside the Asia Pacific theater. Overwhelming number of untrained soldiers with less sophisticated weapons can only slow down a war, but will ultimately more of a liability once their weapon systems are outmatched. Just look at Russia going against a determined Ukraine and their more moderately advanced Western weapons. Just imagine if it was the most advanced western weapons.
Obviously it will start in asia

China is a strong powerhouse in that region but the lack of any actual navy and lack of support/transport really limit them to battles in the pacific region which to be fair is all they really care about.

What I noticed about a lot of these military comparison videos is that they tend to leave out how far more advanced the US tech actually is
Even if a country had triple the amount of tanks for example that doesn’t mean much when nearly all of them are Soviet era tanks.
So if it says they both have a submarine they showed really explain the US sub is about 2 decades more advanced than the other.

US subs are not decades ahead. That is one field where China has catched up on. Planes, radar, missile (For airplanes), engines, sensors and stealth are tech where US are ahead. And in many cases, not by decades, but 15 years at most.

The #'s they missed are the most important ones. They are transport vehicles I.e. trucks, tankers, 18 wheelers, 10 wheeler and 6 wheelers and 4 wheelers. Why are these the most important #'s? B/c without them u can move anything around on a battle field. Tankers are need to fuel all the other trucks, AFV, tanks and all the others. U have to get food to ur troops and ammo. An army travels on its stomach and today in trucks. Like when u are looking for a house what are the 1st three things u look for Location, location, location. With an army it is logistics, logistics,, logistics, and yet logistics, again.
These numbers might have been included amongst AFVs/APCs as many units in China are truck borne, and trucks are often forced to do double duty to mave other units without organic transport. A thing unheard of in the US today.

What these videos never care to say is the fact that just because a country have more then like in this example china has more ships but they are ways less technologically advanced china operates more little ships with most being horribly outdated and cheaply made

I'm an American and you're just wrong. We are more than capable of defending our homeland and kick anyone's ass that comes here. However, winning a war against, Russia or China in their backyard is not going to happen. We lost every proxy war against China in SE Asia. This was also at a time China was weak and poor. Don't wish for a war with China or Russia, its not one you can win. God forbid we are stupid enough to start a war with both at the same time. They will have all of us speaking Russia/Chinese by 2030.
Even if they can get a few boots on the soil of the United States they would have to deal with all the civilians. But it will never get that far...they don't have the capability an also have to deal with NATO countries as well

Oil is important but the technology within the United States Air Force and navy is the greatest in the world. Those USA fighter jets , carriers
, helicopters ect are the deadliest in the world.

China and the USA are almost the same size, but about half of China is nothing but desert and mountains, both of which are pretty much useless, for anything. America has the same kind of stuff, but in much smaller percentages. Furthermore, what there is, is much better developed.
These are just raw numbers, in virtually every category, US equipment is much better (sometimes VERY much better), than the Chinese equivalent. fighting IN China I would expect the PLAA to do fairly well, but outside the country, especially after going through their most elite units, that Chinese forces would be worth MUCH MUCH less in combat power.
There is also a need for "face" in China, so everything needs to be as good as or better than it's American counterpart. Exaggerations on capability and usefulness is often exaggerated, some times by more than an order of Magnitude or more even. Example: nuclear weapons are 10,000+ versus 350. many do not have the range to reach the USA and are thus fairly useless. All American ICBMs can reach anywhere in China. Cruise missiles and shorter ranged weapons just can't reach the USA. Meanwhile, as you see with the refueling aircraft and the propensity for large size of the US vessels, getting shorter range weapons to China is Child's play. US bombers have consistently flown from the states to attack targets in the middle east over and over again. (that is clear around the world in total air miles), US subs are all state of the art, while many (if not most) Chinese subs are soviet era fossils. The fleet of strategic bombers, are all the best of the best (even the B-52s), ALL of the Chinese bombers are H-6s, copies of the 70ish year old Soviet Badger bomber. A death trap in any contested airspace. American Artillery beats out almost all Chinese artillery in both range and accuracy. Etc, etc, etc.
The bad part is that Chinas only needs to worry about the Chinese borders, South China Sea and Taiwan. America is committed to watching for trouble over the entire surface of the planet.

Nato is 80% US and its struggling to defeat Russia in Ukraine. Sad part is Russia haven't even really started.

China is now #2 for world powers after Russia showed how incredibly weak it is. It's a paper army, the numbers look good on paper but the manpower and equipment are absolute crap.

these comparisons are in truth irrelevant. its about the fight in the people as ukraine is showing to russia, and the vietnamese showed the americans and a lot of military equipment these days is obsolete, tanks for example, hand held weapons easily take them out. america like my country (UK) is in decline whereas china is on the rise , power is shifting to the east
