Yes this kit is awesome has like 2 more features interior ambient lights don’t have but most kits cost(backseat of the seat and the cool controller; my controller is on my phone.) but most cost 50-60$!!

I’m looking to get this for my new model y. I want to add on an alcantara wrap to cover the silver though. It’s hard to see the dimensions of the controler to know if that’s a possibility. Might need to get 2 wraps and splice them together, haha.

I'lld definitely install this, although installing it without the front speaker and seat rear lights would definitely increase the OEM-feel of it all. My feeling that they make it just a tad too gimmicky. And I would prefer a more subtle and covert way of controlling the light, instead of having this toy-like central ferris wheel that's continuously and prominently visible.
Actually, you can have the lights on AND turn off the screen at the same time so you don’t have the wheel showing 👌🏼

1800?!? Holy crap. I just did my brand new MYLR using the $86 LED light kit for add on design. Took me about 3 hours to install myself. It has about 3/4 of all of the lights seen here. The only excepts are on the door or speaker. It is controllable via app (color, sound, flashing etc). Looks great and much, much, much less $$$$
I’ve seen your set up and my set up side by side and sure you can always go cheaper but you DEFINITELY see the difference 😏 I believe my lights are $700 and install was the expensive part because mine requires way more than just adding the light strips. It’s actual parts like a new center console, new trims on the entire car… etc. it’s A LOT of work to install the one in this video but so worth it!
I really want something like this but only the upper door part and the dashboard part, I don’t need all the extra I just want a simple OEM look but can’t find anything

It wasn't horrible to install, but it is time consuming. I got the instructional video from the company and then got it translated into English. Look up Aroham Laser Engrave light kit install, and you'll find the video

My dad have Ambient light
This is the most OEM version out there. However the difficulty of installation makes me think twice. No local installer in Texas that I can find that can do it.
I know a shop in Dallas that will do it.

Amazon has lights like these for about $100
no no no, Amazon has lights, and there the comparison ends. This one looks like it belongs to the car, these cheap DIY things have wires sticking out in the center console, have to be powered by the cigarette lighter and controlled by an app or a remote, not attached to the car so in reality after a few months you get tired of it and it won't get used anymore. If you saw one on Amazon which doesn't look like I described I stand corrected and please send me the link, I would be buying it ASAP. But I doubt a decent budget option exists at this moment.
@@ivo4357 basenor sells lights that about fifty CZcams videos swear by. They cost $60 and if you install it correctly you won’t see any wires. Powered by the usb port inside the console. Saves you $1700.
@ivo4357 lightning bug tech 330$ it's a legit great company, controlled app on your smartphone but the lights look incredible an it's plug n play no cigarette lighter!
