Fantastic thank you so much fantastic instructions the snap ring they sent me does not have the Gap necessary so I basically ground off the ends so that it was the same diameter to allow me to push in those two plastic tabs

The fuel pump that I bought, has one straight line connector, one L shaped connector. Now I'm thinking, the straight line connector goes to the fuel tank, or, comes from the fuel tank, is that correct?
On my John Deere the L shaped fuel pump fitting connector receives the little hose coming from the fuel filter and the straight fitting goes upward to the short hose that fits on the metal tube going to the carburetor.
You have any luck with that Amazon fuel pump the reviews on Amazon for the different ones for the k321s Kohler cast-iron 14 horse don't sound too good sounds like people had a lot of problems with them
Wish I had seen this 2 weeks ago....I got mine in somehow....without that stupid ring...I had no fricken idea why that massive lock ring was in the box....should I try to install the tool.and re insert my barbed adapters. Its been holding up this long already. Idk?

Should oil up the o rings on the fuel barb--A shot of oil in the body of the pump wouldn't hurt either.
