It's kinda weird that people, including me, love the sound of cars. Like why

engines produce 2 different main frequencies and a bunch of extra ones. depending on the engine configuration these frequencies can line up in such a way that they happen to produce something fairly close to a chord.
for example the old formula 1 v10s 2 main frequencies happen to create a major 3rd interval.
that is my very basic understanding at least.
