Hello I’ve been looking all over for 24t 78mm 3stud rear wheel hubs for the set of rims I have but I only see 23t 3stud then it goes up to 24t 4stud hubs idk if they make any or if I’m just not looking hard enough maybe you could give me an respond it will help me a lot so I could know if I need to change my rim
Sounds like you have a fun go cart or yard cart? Are you able to track down the mfg?
@@mindofJason I don’t know what an MFG is but yes it’s a old yard kart but I’m putting a 670cc in it still trying to find clutches or torque converters rated for 22hp but I basically tore everything down till the chassis and put a new seat tie rod steering new axle and what not

If you maintain your overall rear width as the same, going with a longer hub will increase the stiffness of the axle from the axle bearings outward. Depending on yours tires and your baseline setup, the effect could be different. Someone might say that the stiffer rear may free the kart, others may say it might add more grip.
Hubs are a great way to fine tune the rear of the kart for a desired feel or even to quickly check if changing the axle to softer or harder may benefit your scenario. Where as an axle change may affect the kart through the whole corner, a hub might give you a change in a specific part of the corner.
If you are competitive, you will have multiple lengths in your track box. If you are just starting out, get some seat time and try to find a used pair of a different length then you already have. Once your lap times are consistent, give the hubs a shot.

If they are sliding off, make sure they are not cracked or damaged from over tightening. If they continue to slide off, you may need to replace. Send an email or text to our affiliate kart shop @extrakartparts
