I'm sort of happy that he didn't get into wanna one, his voice is definitely not for kpop. His voice and technique really suits ballads and pop rock so I was really happy he was put into N.Flying. Now N.Flying can venture into different types of songs with Hweseung now with them.

"사실 가왕전까지 갈 수 있을 거라고 상상도 못했습니다. 녹화 당일 목 상태가 정말 좋지 않았거든요. 촬영 전 수액을 맞고 따뜻한 물도 계속 마셨지만 좀처럼 나아지질 않더라고요. 리허설 중간중간 음이탈이 나니까 음악감독님과 관계자분들이 무리하는 거 아닌지 물어보시기도 했어요. "할 수 있습니다!" 라고 대답했지만 내심 걱정했죠. 그런데 본방송 무대에 올라가니 거짓말처럼 목이 좋아지더라고요! 관객분들이 저를 바라보고 계신다는 생각에 나은 것 같았어요. 무대 끝나고 PD님과 작가님이 왜 우리까지 속였냐고 장난삼아 얘기하시기도 했죠. (웃음) 게다가 예상치 못하게 가왕전까지 진출하는 영광을 누려 얼떨떨하고 신기한 경험이었습니다."

Bless Hweseung is an excellent vocalist I dare say one of the best in his generation. Those high notes were executed perfectly!
Farah he slipped a little right at the end but his voice control is CRAZY ASF so he saved that so it looked like made on purpose, I respect people like him deeply, can't wait to see him improve💕
