Over all a nice house. There are some issues, though. The entrance is very nice. I do love walking into a hall, not a room. The kitcten looks workable, which is nice, but brings me to the first change. That window into the car port needs to be a door to facilitate bringing groceries and other things from the car into the house. Im aldo not a fan of the seating area being one with the car parking. Put up a trellis wall to separate the spaces. The other thing I dislike a great deal is the bsthroom window. A floor to ceiling window is bad enough, but to have the bathroom on full display beside the front door is really poor design. That needs a rethink to provide privacy.
I agree and the bathroom window would be better with some vinyl like sanded glass effect.

Thank you and you are right. There should be drainage in the gravel around the house and drainage channels under the windows.

Thank you! Yes, I would use the ceiling slab from reinforced concrete, loadbearing walls and one steel pillar in the corner window. But it must be assessed by a structural engineer.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! To the left of the bathroom is a technical (utility) room, where there is usually a boiler, washing machine, dryer, ...
Outside, there is a multi-purpose storage room for tools, bikes and other equipment, which is usually stored in a garage.

Voilà enfin une « petite » maison mais avec enfin un grand salon pour recevoir a l’intérieur ! Par contre je trouve regrettable que les canapés / sofas soient dos aux baies vitrées !! Quel dommage de tourner le dos au jardin/terrasse et de se retrouver face à un mur. J’aurais mis mes canapés en U partant de sous le mur de la tv et longeant la table, la tv installée sur le mur de la chambre ainsi les habitants auraient autant la vue sur la tv que sur le jardin. Par ailleurs un mur de séparation entre la voiture et le salon extérieur est indispensable si l’on ne veut pas avoir l’impression de boire un verre dans son garage/parking. Enfin une partie du mur en verre de la salle de bains donnant donc sur l’extérieur ne me parait pas préserver l’intimité de ses occupants. Tout comme la chambre du même côté, c’est à dire côté entrée de la maison, là aussi peut de. Place à l’intimité des personnes. Une autre fenêtre aurait peut être suffit. Belle conception félicitations.

It is very nice. I am just wondering for what climate this design is practical. In tropical weather all that glass area may create a lot of heat. In cold places it may transmit too much cold. Although the living space is only 775sqft the way this structure is designed given all the overhangs, how cost effective will it be?
You are thinking absolutely right. Large glazed surfaces should be oriented to the south, but it is also necessary to take into account shading (overhangs/blinds). Fortunately, modern windows have good thermal properties. But it is important to find a suitable balance.
@@dp. You have a 25% of finding a lot where the backyard is in the south. Usually that is where you have the most privacy and hence can put the largest glass. In my case my back yard will be in the East. Hence, I have a 6-foot overhang over the great room windows and 13 feet over the master bedroom window. The side with the second most windows on my plane is in the south. I also will have double glass impact windows with heat protection. With all that it will still get hot in Florida hot summers. It is a balancing act because many homes do not have enough light in the main living areas. When that happens, it feels as if you are entering a cave. To make sure I have enough light in the living areas I will have 12-foot ceilings with 10 feet of glass doors but only in the great room. The rest have large windows but far less than the whole wall, as I need to control the heat.

From my observation garages are an American thing
If you have the space, garage is a must. In my country there is usually a limit on the maximum built-up or usable area of the plot. Therefore, you prefer to use the valuable area for a living space instead of a garage.
