I went over to BMW Leicester to have my BMW M5 Competition inspected after i rebuilt it myself. But there were a few issues the technician picked up on that needed fixing before the BMW was 100%. So today thats the job!

I absolutely wish this worked with RAMs There are a few weird settings hard coded that would be lovely to modify.

Can’t believe you’ve come this far in the time I have watched the channel. From rebuilding your Audi TT in a car park to a driveway to now owning multiple supercars and rebuilding your dream cars in your very own warehouse. It is just amazing and so inspiring the journey you have taken. Quitting your restaurant job was truly worth it!

I've had Carly for years. Since they updated their payment plans I've binned them right off It used to be £75 for the device then £75 per year. Now it's still £75 per year plus a monthly fee for the 'mechanic' bit. Used to get most of it for the annual price. Now you get almost nothing without paying monthly. No longer a fan. They also take the yearly fee without telling you . And you have to use the web page to cancel as you cannot in the app.

Yo Mat, cool video again and needless to say your dad is a no nonsense old school mechanic and funny at that. Oh yeah sorry for getting the crosshatching wrong forgot that honing does that. But I do need to tell you there is a reason that you need to change the other shock too at the rear. At I am willing to bet yeah that within a few months depending on how much you drive the car it will start to leak! As to why? Well it’s fairly long story but the short version is the build up of ridges inside the shocks, because you changed the hight the travel is different and the piston inside the shocks will be constantly riding over these ridges and this will cause the seal to leak! Hey Matt, you guys should use Anti-seize or Copper Grease on your Coil-over threads. They tend to bind after a while. Love your channel…cheers.

Efi conversion, procharger, nice rims among some mods. There's plenty you can do and I'm sure you'd make a mint job of it.

Think you might be referring to me matt about the speaker thing. Was definitely how I changed my rear shocks on the F10. Seems mad that you needed to take the parcel shelf out to replace a shock. Good job though man. Love your work
Mat you have to rip out the sound dampning foam under the speaker. The 3 bolts are right under that. Did this on my f10 bmw

M5 Looks stunning, I've always been a fan of the lower carbon side skirts on BMW's m Cars. I had a front splitter and a rear diffuser on my E92 M3, the side blades really tied it all in, just as it has done with your M5. As you say, mods are not to everyones tastes, but the world would be a boring place if we all had the same looking cars. Hope you get time to squeeze some content in with this beast once it's 100%. What a car! Cheers for another great video.

Rust and/or road grime on the upper portion of the shock rod took out the seals when you lowered the suspension 😊

Also I think your dad deserves his own youtube channel now. I think he could fix basically everything or he could get his own car projects where you help him out. Maybe he could take over the 6-Series that you currently have out for body repair. Maybe he could do classic car restorations and you do the modern stuff.
