I don't think people literally understand how big an artist Sonu Nigam is. I truly feel nd believe too that he is among the greatest singer of Indian Music industry along with Rafi, Kishore, Lata, Shreya nd Arijit too. This man is literally ruling from 90's, 2000's, 10's nd now in 20's he is singing in Bollywood films. This year too he sang Shehzada title track, Rocky aur Rani song, Dunki song is coming, Adipurush song nd many more. We should respect nd give him more nd more PR(pyaar) as he truly deserves..

8. A child can pick up language fast because his/her mind is so fertile that he/she not only can learn the syllables and sounds but also the mannerisms and context involved. So this is also a very ripe age for learning music. An adult will take comparatively more time to acquire such skills but definitely possible through comparatively much more diligent investment of time and energy in constant practice.
9. Vedas are a glorious endeavour to represent the world of knowledge in a condensed form for ease of access to mankind
10. Be involved in a perpetual process of Learning with a sense of submission and humility.
11. Work should be an extreme immersive experience such that the 'Work' becomes the 'Worker' and the 'Worker' becomes the 'Work'; in Sonu Sir's case, the 'Song' becomes the 'Singer' and the 'Singer' becomes the 'Song'.
12. There can be no greater divinity than the fact that one's job doesn't just give satisfaction but also brings tears of joy.
13. It's equally important to know what not to do in Life. Remove the unnecessary and energy consuming stuff from Life.
14. Patience and Practice are perpetual and continuous process. Keeps you ever ready and prepared when opportunity comes knocking at the door.
15. Keeping an Open Mind, even if restricted to a single physical location, teaches much more than merely physically Traveling different places with a closed Mind.

Honestly man, I don’t care for any“spiritual thinkers” and “motivational speakers.” But if there is actually a thing like that, just listen to this guy taking. Especially in longer interviews like this one.
To be honest, I also thought Ranveer was out of depth here. He didn’t really get a lot of points Sonu was making about stuff that Ranveer prides himself on.

Sonu sir is the most intellectual person I've ever seen and heard..this was more of a motivational and eye opening video...and one more thing...sonu sir was deeply involved in the conversation throughout the entire video...from "zero to zero".
Let me share a personal story about my immense admiration for Sonu Nigam. I've always been one of his biggest fans, not just for his singing, but also for his personality, which shines through in this podcast.
Since my childhood, I've grown up listening to his songs and watching his interviews. Since I was just 8 or 9 years old, I found myself resonating with his thoughts and personality. Whenever I felt down or depressed, his music and interviews would appear on my devices, pulling me out of the darkness.
Attending one of his live concerts was a dream of mine. I remember saving up as a student to see him in concert. I once traveled all the way from Kolkata to Bangalore for a concert but missed it due to a delay. During my office days, I couldn't make it to his Kolkata concerts because my days off didn't align with his shows.
Then, last month, after working at the same company for 5 years, I lost my job. I was once again feeling low. The next day, Sonu Nigam had a concert in Kolkata, and my family encouraged me to attend. I went, and it turned out to be the best experience of my life. His performance lifted me out of my depression once more. Watching him sing live in front of thousands while I was in the crowd, I cried, smiled, and was mesmerized by his incredible talent.
Today, I find myself in another rough phase, but this podcast has given me the strength to carry on. It has reminded me of so many things and offered unexpected lessons. Thank you, Ranveer, for this. And, Sonu Sir, I'm incredibly proud that you remain one of the few icons in my life, even after 15 years.

Sonu Nigam is not only a fantastic, phenomenal and learned artist but to see this personal side of him is highly inspiring. Mr. Sonu Nigam’s “Kal Ho Na Ho” unplugged dedicated to his mother touched my life the most. Please ask him what went through his heart and mind when he was singing it. Personally, I felt so much pure emotion and love, the song turned into a life’s journey of joy and sorrow!
We want Part 2, Bring Sonu Nigam back. Ask more Music centric question rather than spiritual (because spiritual side was covered in this video very well). We want to know each step of becoming a musician/singer.

Sonu Nigam isn't just a great human being but an emotion in itself. Very few singers can sing that melodiously without practicing beforehand. The way he sang the happy birthday song to illustrate the example of what practice does was eye-opening.
The man's love for Hindu dharma, the nation and his takes on life of continuous reform are perfect examples for each of us to follow.
I'm a Pakistani who grew up listening to Sonu Nigam. I have never been a crazy fan of any actor, performance except for this man, Sonu Nigam. I used to have a designated Sonu Nigam folder in my computer and used to wait for new Sonu Nigam songs all the time.
In the era of hip hop, rap and EDM we rarely listen to old classics and filmi songs. But Sonu Nigam's magic always stays with me and every now and then I sit and listen to my favourite songs.
This interview has opened new aspects of his personality in front us. I love him even more now. I feel happy and blessed.

What a personality.. Once he said in an interview that someone complemented him that in the whole industry only he have "happy eyes". That is absolutely true.
