  • In today’s program, Rick lays the groundwork for Christ’s message to the church in Laodicea - a message that still speaks to us today. To order the series and book offers click SHOW MORE.
The church of Laodicea was the last of seven churches Christ spoke to in the book of Revelation. Although His message was given nearly 2,000 years ago, it is still very relevant to us today. In this ten-part series, with openings captured throughout the ancient city of Laodicea, Rick Renner takes you on an inspiring journey revealing the history of Laodicea, the spiritual significance of being cold and hot and not lukewarm, and what it actually means to be “rebuked” and “chastened” by Christ. You’ll also hear Christ’s counsel to a calloused church, how His correction is always motivated by love, and how He promises instant intimacy for anyone who opens the door to Him. store.renner.org/product/195/...
In his book A Light in Darkness, Volume 1 Rick Renner creates a panoramic experience of unsurpassed detail to transport you into the ancient lands of the seven churches of Asia Minor. Within the context of this fascinating - and, at times, shocking - historical backdrop, Rick outlines challenges early believers faced in taking the Gospel to a pagan world. After presenting a riveting account of the apostle John's vision of the exalted Christ, Rick leads you through an in-depth study of Jesus' messages to the churches of Ephesus and Smyrna - profoundly relevant messages that sill resonate for His Church today. store.renner.org/product/120/...
In No Room for Compromise: Christ’s Message to Today’s Church, Rick Renner sets forth his most prophetic book to date. With a sobering charge to Christian leadership to stand up for faith in Christ - regardless of the price required to proclaim it in its purest form - Renner’s message is a clarion call: Winds of opposition against the Church are gathering. As pagan influences continue to increase in these last days, Christianity will once again become completely out of sync with the times with its message that Christ alone is the way to the Father. store.renner.org/product/17/n...

All the study guides are like no other study guides I've ever seen. They include everything said here in the lessons, the Greek words, scriptures referenced written out and you will be personally challenged to dig into the Bible! That's fantastic! Love this ministry!

@@RJ93427 hi RJ.. when you go to Renner.org, click on the menu, then click on shop, then click on the series or set for which you would like to have a study guide. It will give you an option of adding the study guide to your cart. Then you can check out with your purchase. Also on the page where the sets are shown, there is a menu as well. Click on that and then click on study guides..
Also try Amazon or abebooks.com to see if you can find them at a discount. Not likely tho as they are priced very reasonably already. 😊 Maybe try your local library too.. What country are you in?

The water has traveled too far from its sources, so whether originally cold and fresh, or warm and cleansing, it’s now just putrid and not fit for consumption. So horrible that it makes the consumer puke.
This is a wonderful lesson. Thank you. It puts the teaching of some pastors I know into new perspective. They’ve quite liberally used this verse to judge opponents to eternal perdition, no joking. One of those pastors even sent me a letter once because I said no go his crusade against a former preacher on the reasons that I’d rather evangelise him than demonise him. Then I too was judged to perdition according this verse.

Thanks a million Pastor Rick u always offer the historical backgrounds of scripture for us to better understand God's heart for us His church...jus wish to share out own revelations of the Hot and Cold interpretations can it be that the cold waters refer to our personal repentance self examination seeking God's forgiveness and growth in personal holiness...whilst the hot water refers to our outward display of good works to the world...we need to do BOTh for the Lord to accept us..
rather than do each half heartedly?

Hello Mr Rick Renner. I love these videos as I really learn a lot. Also like when you start your videos in the actual places you discuss in the Bible study. (Also liked the previous videos in Jerusalem.) anyway, do you do trips to the Holy Land or Turkey and are these open to the public? Would love to visit the Holy Land / Turkey and have you teach us! 🙏🏼☺️

Rick has hosted two tours in Turkey of the ancient churches, but at this time nothing is scheduled . (He has not done a tour in Israel.) If you are interested in a future tour in Turkey, please email Beth at bethparker@renner.org and she will add you to her list of those who have expressed interest.

Hello. In the beginning of this teaching, several churches were named by Rick. My sister and I are very interested in viewing those teachings too. Ephesus, Smyrna, Philadelphia, Thyatira, etc. were mentioned. What are the dates of those Rick teachings please? We enjoy Rick's teachings so, so very much!!! We are growing and growing in God's Word daily. Thank you Renner Family!!! Susan and Melissa in Tarpon Springs, FL. Any chance Tampa, FL, is on Rick's schedule in the future?

There was no church at Laodicia it was simply a congregation of people at the city of Laodicia, the true Greek translation was “ the called out “ and not a building of worship.

Is Jesus, the Son Eternal?, or was He God the Father's first creation? Please answer this important question. Also, please verify the conclusion that the Angels were not Angels, but were ministers/ pastors in Scriptural context. If so, this would include ALL Elders- not just the paid teachers of a Church, right?
