Epic shots of the Eurostar and Southeastern Highspeed trains passing by. Very nice.

Great footage and very true about more people being on the train that that big ugly mass of cars.

That shot watching the train climb the steep gradient south of the Medway viaducts is quite something! What camera and focal length do you have?

Glad you enjoyed it. I use a Panasonic Lumix TZ90. It's small and light but has a good optical zoom plus some software zoom. I've no idea what settings I used for that shot. I have the camera on auto and just adjust the zoom to suit.

I thought Medway was a famous naval battle in the Pacific ocean…😃😃😃😃

@@BoogiesTrains Yes i know, but I never miss an opportunity to make dumb comments! Anyway the whole area is quite interesting and I enjoyed the sight of the Eurostar on HS1.

There is a Russian/Soviet submarine in the Medway though...

That's maximumly most excellent !! (pardon the bad grammar; I'm not supposed to use two superlatives ! ) I took a long time to follow step by step by switching back and forth every minute to/from Google Map Satellite. It was an extremely excellent tutorial, and gave me a very good oversight of the area. I still have to work on the alignments a bit of the two railways between Rochester Bridge and old Rochester Station. Am I right; there must have been a crossing of the competitors just west of the Rochester Bridge ?? When I get back, I'll dissect it a bit further. I gather that the competing (not cooperating ) idiots had four tracks side by side between these two spots ? I'll be back in a bit. Aarre Peltomaa

If you go to the website of the National Library of Scotland you can navigate to images of old maps and get a side by side view of the old and current situation. It is most informative.
