@@dinaranganathan the 2022 test IS VERY DIFFERENT from the concept shown. not to mention all the laws in place that stop you flying an actual aircraft near a town/city without any type of licence. not to even dive in to the actual reason you will never see these evtol cars become common place is because of the noise. you might see the ultra rich with these using them over private land but the idea that we're gonna replace cars with flying cars is just idiotic honestly. much smarter minds have talked about this to great end. never gonna happen.

If there is hailstorm on flight, then I think for safety, xpeng need to redesign the propeller and glass window system so can be flying safety even there is snow storm or hail storm or sand / ash storm.

Regular flying in cars for everyone never will be allowed in a western country. Air-Taxi service between fixed Points A and B ... maybe yes ... probably will take 5 more years for safety clearance.
imagine trying to get in while the blades are spinning let alone trying the land in tight spaces they should rather use some sort of jet engines mounted on the side like the AV from cyberpunk 2077 but with those insane climate politics this will never happen

It is actually a foldable Quadcopter attached to the top of a car. Instead try to make a turbofan powered car & attach the engines in place of wheels
