Yes totally agree that those Headwaters’s kayak videos are great instruction, I follow along with those and try to copy just like you are doing. I have found a few other good video resources too, check out the paddle stroke videos done by Tom Nickels, for example. There are many other helpful ones on YT for paddling the touring / sea kayaks, if one just takes the time to find them. Lots of folks don’t realize how much fun it is to have a longer kayak (at least 14 ft) that behaves like a touring kayak should, so you can get the most out of your time on the water - travel faster and further, see more, play more, etc. The Eddylines are great, so are Delta and the Dagger Stratos kayaks, to name a few.
