      Table limits? Typically I've seen $5000.00 at the Beau in Biloxi. Does that mean I can bet 5000 on the Place, 5000 on the Come and back with another 5000 on odds? Thanks David, great work.

    The reality with this is that you need to take your money off the table first, even if you are rolling. I have watched folks "power press" and have the 6 and 8 up to 96. Problem is big red came up the next roll, they had not collected anything, and all that money went back to the casino. Play the short game, most rolls will be that way. Take until you have your money on the table equated and then press, if it is a long roll you will make money full pressing.

    Well this is what I practiced at home on my Kitchen table with a make shift craps table uses some poker chips and cards 4,5,6,8,9,10 of diamonds as the number and Big Blind button to mark the point. So what I have tried doing is using the first 3 payouts to press as much as I can trying to double all my payouts as fast as I can then collect the next 3 payouts to refund my buy in for the roll. So for example let's say I start with a $10 line bet so a $2 crap it rolls 5. So I go with $137 across 4 and 10 bought and say $30 odds on 5 to keep payout even so $179 invested. Next roll is a 9 pays $35 so press 9 to $50 press odds on 5 to $40 next roll is a 4 great $50 for $1 press 4 and 10 to $50 so 2 more dollars for the buy so total investment is $182 3rd paying roll is 9 okay pays $70 so press 6 and 8 to $60 and put $10 more on odds to take it to $50 now all bets have been doubled and now 6,8,9 will all pay $70, 5 would pay $85, and 4 and 10 will pay $98 or a $100 for $2 so at this point collect next 3 rolls so saying the next 3 rolls are the lowest paying numbers you have in this spot that would be 6,8,9 that would be $70 a payout would be $210 which would mean you would be up $38 dollars then from there I would be banking the green chips ($25) and pressing the red chips. Depending on how long the roll manages to keep going you could become more aggressive with your presses depending on the players comfort level. Now I realize this is certainly not a fool proof strategy as it would require a minimum of 7 rolls and at least 6 paying rolls but you could win a pretty decent chunk of change on even a decent roller.

  • @ReaverLordTonus
    @ReaverLordTonus Před 4 lety +11

    Problem is this entirely depends on hitting the same number three times before a seven out. While I have seen it happen it's extremely rare so I would tweak this a little by pressing the 6 and/or 8 no matter what number hits, once you press them 3 times, you then work on the 5 and 9, then the 4 and 10 until you have all across pressed up 3 times.

    • @brianr749
      @brianr749 Před rokem +4

      "Pressing" doesn't make any sense to me at all. It's based entirely on the premise of "a good shooter", but that 7 IS coming. There is no shooter with better luck or better superstition management, the 7 is coming. And every roll that happens, a 7 is that much closer. It's why I'll pull my inside bets if a horn comes while the point is out. That is one roll that went against me, and one roll closer to the 7. Yes, it can be a bummer when you miss those 30 roll streaks, but a missed revenue bummer is better than a lost bankroll bummer.
      To me, a much better strategy is to bet bigger on the first roll after point, and then pull that down and let that win fund the rest of that run. So, $1000 bankroll, no P/DP, $320 across first roll after the point. 6/8 pays $70. Reduce to $32 across. You are only at risk for one roll, and banking profit the rest of the time. If a 30 streak comes, you are pocketing $7-9 per roll through the streak, plus your initial $38-58 profit from the first win. (I just want to point out that you only place the $320 across after a Seven-then-point. So, if a shooters hits their point, but then immediately sets a new point, then you are still at $32. If he hits point, shoots a 7 when it's off, then sets a new point, then go back to the $320.)
      Yes, I've hit 3 Point-Seven-Out in a row, and that wipes the bankroll, and it sucks, but even on a 5-10 roll streak, that inside line pays out like it's an ATM. While the rest of the table screams about hardways, horn, or field not hitting, I'm just making $7-9 withdrawals each roll. And when 7 hits, I'm already up.
      DON'T CHASE LOSSES. The only times I've lost my tuckus on this is when I lose that first $320 to a bad roll, and then either bet the rest of the backroll to "makeup" for it, or I let the $320 sit for more than one roll. Every time I've gotten greedy and kept the $320 up, I get wiped out.

    So here's a question (having never bet enough money to be remotely close to a "Table Limit")...is the Table Limit sign on a craps table an indication of how much you can make on an individual bet? Does it only apply to specific bets? What about Odds?
    I tinkered with the power press a few weeks back. Had a hot shooter who kept hitting 9s and I took a $5 Place Bet on the 9 to $500 in 6 hits (collected the 3rd hit for $50 to cover the initial bet on the shooter). I quickly realized that I don't have the guts to risk that much money, but I hung in there for one hit on the Purple chip before regressing down to $30. But hey, that was a great payday and enough for a low-stakes gambler like me. I'm so used to grinding out a couple bucks of profit or watching my bankroll disappear. But it did get me thinking about what the Table Limits really mean in a dice game since I have now seen that it's theoretically possible to get there with the right shooter under the right conditions.

    • @CasinoQuest
      @CasinoQuest  Před 4 lety +4

      Table limit is any way to a number. 5 x times odd means 5 x the flat bet, which is table limit. You also have the ability to PUT bets which are Come bets that go straight to a number. I know a person with far too much money, on a 1k limit take, put out 6400 across and 6k in flat puts with 6k odds. For some reason he only played out single odds, but this was a unique case of seriously maxxing out table limits. I have been to a casino before that limited place bets on the 6 and 8 to just 1k on a 1k table, which doesn't make sense since you need the cap to pay out the same bet on the 5 and 9, but who am I to argue. So casinos and any boss at any moment can pull some dumb math and limit your exposure. It happens all the time. Bosses can hate big scores off little money since they don't have the same opportunity to recover. If your a whale playing 50k, your probably going to be back to lose it next time. If your a $100 buy-in and walk with $25k, chances are your off to pay bills and buy a car.

    Based on your experience what would you estimate the probability is of hitting 1 number 3, 4 or 5 times before a 7-Out? 5 hits on 1 number could be 10 or more rolls I am guessing and that is pushing my luck a little too far for my comfort. I will be happy to win enough for a buffet for two consistently. Thanks for the vid.

    My system (which relies on controlled shooters, a whole team filling the key spots on a table; though with social distancing it's the whole table) Large 'inside' bet, after 1 inside number hits; regress to whatever it just won (or very close to it.) Next, power press each hit until either 3 numbers hit or a number hits twice; then back down to that bottom bet. Next, press in increments like $25 each time. If going the lowest it could be $44 inside, then $5/6 to $15/18, then back to $5/6. Then $10/12, 15/18, 25/30, 50/60, $75/90. Once you have maybe 4-10x your initial big bet on bets, you might regress to your initial regression amount, this would be maybe $200 in winnings and $200 in bets if starting with $44; taking it down to $22 and having almost $400 in winnings. The initial bet starts at 1% of bankroll, if you do well; the wager and number of units both grow; goal of 2000 inside bets of table max for total bankroll. One exception, in a winning session; you can boost your bet to 1/3 your session winnings. With a team of shooters who are like the 69 mets of throwers (Ryan, Koosman, Seaver; all world class pitchers) you could turn $10k bankroll into $500k winnings. You could also do it if lucky. You'd likely fail if luck were bad and you had no real skill. With no skill and average luck, you'd lose 1/4 of the times you play, breaking even often and having monster winners from time to time.

It seems the only times I make money is if I find a hot shooter which is maybe once in the day(if im lucky) or I hit the all tall, make em all for 2k I also like having a $5 on hard 6 and 8 and if it hits parlay it and hope for the second hit to collect $450 one final comment, my wife and I get a comp room at the borgata and just last week on the all tall, make em all they lowered the payout from 35 to 1 to 30 to 1 Dealers said there was no reason for doing that so me being Mr. Sarcastic I commented Inflation huh. Thing I've run into is many dealers don't (or pretend not to) understand how you want to press and they end up pressing to a wrong multiple. This totally throws my strategy off as the next place bet is the wrong amount since the dealer pressed it wrong and pushed the change back to me right before the shooter rolls again.

Toward the end of the night there was a hot 45 minute shooter and got the bets up to 120 on the 6/8 and 90 on the 5/9 but chickened out, collected and took down my bets back to three units inside and built them back up again three times.
