Actually there is no Copyright in that video so you dont have to colorize the video😂

I know (I've done plenty by now), it was an artistic decision, to fit in the new general aesthetic of the channel. Just doing this wouldn't be able to bypass any copyright btw 😂

The first song is theme of the sumeru region and this region is based on Indian and middle eastern(arabic/persian) moslty on this 3 culture but also may have some other middle east countries culture mixed in Turkish/Armenian for example
So the traditional instrument u see are from this culture
    5:34 oud (arabic)
    5:37 Ney(Egyptian)
    5:46 sitar (indian)
    Percussion:
6:49 From top to right percussion
    Riq(arabic),Caxixi(African),Daff(Persian)
    6:49 bottom to right
    Darbuka(Egyptian),lady using Naqareh(middle east)
    7:05 santur(persian)
    7:14 Duduk(Armenian)
7:37 the lady with white dress holding Tanpura(indian)
10:14 Baglama (Saz) Turkish but popular all over middle east
Every instrument except indian one are used/shared all over middle east music
There are actually more instruments(indian/arabic)used in sumeru album just not included in this two songs
    Hope this helps
The other instruments which are used in remaining album
    Indian:
    Bansuri(flute)

    Tabla and dholak(percussion)
    Arabic:
    Kanun
    Persian:
    Tombak(percussion)
    Greece:

Just to comment on what you said in the introduction. Thanks to Genshin Impact the passion I had about music and arts in general reenkindled once again in me. I love this game so much, and now Im learning to play 2 instruments just because Genshin made me love music again so much.

That motif you were humming along at 10:07 is one of the most recognizable "battle motifs" in Genshin (it's probably the second after the Genshin Impact main theme). It was first introduced in "Photon of Fluctuation" at the game release and since then, it was featured in 40+ OSTs (with some variations). It's amazing how they were able to weave it into a middle-eastern-sounding OST so seamlessly.

I suggest listening to the regional theme live concerts (with a battle theme as the 2nd song for Chapters 2-4). A great way to compare and contrast the full musical theme for each region. In reverse order of the traveler's (your) journey in the game.
Chapter 4: "Fontaine" and "Rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres": czcams.com/video/qZ9DaB7xRZs/video.html
Chapter 3: "Sumeru" and "Swirls of Shamshir" (THIS VIDEO): czcams.com/video/VrP3lO3aGDg/video.html
Chapter 2: "Inazuma" and "Overloard of the Thunderstorm": czcams.com/video/e4bptIoZFDE/video.html
    Chapter 1: "Liyue"*: czcams.com/video/8svl0sQXDLI/video.html
    Prelude: "Mondstadt"*: czcams.com/video/UIam8zl4af8/video.html
    * The last two are part of a longer concerts you may want to do separately or include portions. Perhaps start with the "Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail" that hints at the regional motifs: czcams.com/video/TAlKhARUcoY/video.html

Yea this sound track is soooo interesting. Genshin actually released a video (czcams.com/video/ps8oa3CRNfk/video.html) talking about these musics, and the battle theme is actually using the fibonacci numbers to compose and they talked about it around the 9:53 mark in the video btw!

    • @vers10
      @vers10 Před 8 měsíci +3

He did a reaction video on "Gilded Runner" (the battle OST with the rhythm based on Fibonacci numbers). He's the only youtuber I've seen who figured out the rhythm correctly after hearing it for the first time.

I had already been moved by Inazuma, the respect for Japan and its musical culture. But when I heard the music of Sumeru I felt the desert of Arabia and the jungles of India. I felt its people, its life.
I couldn't wait to see my land, Mexico and all of LATAM, reflected in Natlan... But Yu Peng-Chen is no longer in Genshin. It will not be the same.

You gotta try out the Blazblue soundtrack, it’s composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari and has some absolute head bangers, I’d recommend MUST DIE and Childish Killer LA vocal!
