- Sorry about my 2 week absence, this had to happen sooner or later but I officially became employed last Thursday for my first ever job. Good news is, it's only part-time which is why I have today off & can finally get around to making another video. So 2 weeks ago, I did my video on how to do the wrong warp glitch & mentioned it could be used to race Darius from the beginning of the game, but just before the race began, he vanished so I won the 2 lap circuit race with no competition what so ever. Then going into the canyon duel, he was still nowhere to be found so I ended up doing the first leg of the canyon duel by myself as well. As a result of having no car to trail behind, I couldn't accumulate points which meant I lost the whole thing after stage 1 as a result of having no points. Cool little bonus I discovered off-camera afterwards though is you can crash off cliffs without automatically losing, not that it’d matter considering you’d lose regardless in this situation. Anyway I came to the conclusion that maybe I was wrong & that you couldn't beat Darius from the beginning of the game.
But not long afterwards, I found a loophole, turns out you can do it with the help of a 2nd profile. Make one if you haven't already, make sure you name it something other than your 1st profile otherwise it will overwrite your good save instead losing all your progress & no one wants that, then complete the career tutorial & save profile 2. Then load up profile 1, the one with the career mode completed which is the one you’ll do the first half of the wrong warp glitch on, watch my last video for a detailed explanation on how to do it, I'll leave a link at the bottom. Then load profile 2 back up & do the rest of the wrong warp glitch as normal. Reason I say "as normal" is because unlike what you would normally do for any other early exploit where you would pause & immeditantly exit out of the quick race once it has loaded, that won't work for this specific purpose so regardless whether you win or lose the race must reach a conclusion. Since you must go to the canyon duel track you race Darius on for this to work which is Eternity Pass, the quickest way to end the event is just fly off a cliff. If you've done everything correctly, you should be in the canyon duel event for real in career mode with Darius and most importantly, he hasn't disappeared this time! So now you should be able to beat him & finish the game in just minutes from the time you created that profile & loaded up the career tutorial, having skipped everything else.
Keep in mind considering your racing him from the beginning of the game, your gonna be in a shitty tier 1 car compared to his tier 3 Audi Le Mans Quattro supercar so you MUST be a great driver to stand a chance against him. Luckily if you own the Collector's Edition like I do, you'll have the Nissan 240SX you can swap your starter car out for to make this so much easier. You'll have to complete the Collector's Edition exclusive checkpoint challenges first to unlock it which will take about 15 minutes, then you'll have to complete 2/3 races in career mode in the first area you have unlocked to you to unlock a car lot to buy the Nissan 240SX at. You should have also unlocked an upgrade or two by this point from one of the individual races or conquering the area, buy them to make it a little more easier, unless it's nitrous then don't worry about it as you can't use nitrous in canyon duels. If you don't have the Collector's Edition then your gonna be in for a lot of frustration & restarts since you won't have the luxury of having the 240SX available to you, your best bet then would be the Camaro which is still way worse. Regardless though once & if you can beat him then congrats, you've beaten the game and unlocked Darius's ride (and 4 others) without hardly doing anything even. And what's better, since your not re-racing a boss you've already defeated, your game won't crash either like it normally would.

When I defeated Darius, I used the Nissan 350Z, the fun fact is, I tuned that car bc it was my favorite in Need for speed underground 2

Driver skill is more important than car performance. If your a good driver, you can beat him with nearly anything, tuned or not. To be fair the 240SX is so op anyway. Should’ve been classed as a tier 2 car with how fast it is.

The slowest car I've beaten Darius with was Kenjis RX7. For some reason if you put the tier 3 engine on it without transmission and turbo, it absolutely dominates. I beat him with 45,000 points left because it had unreal cornering and acceleration.

Hell it’s not weak at all. I did a playthrough in this car in 2020 and beat the game so easily, it really is that good.
y'know how I managed to beat this dude? with literally stopping at the end. Just used the rear camera to look back, increased the speed a bit turned car sideways and voila! He just sped up and keep hitting me till the finish line, I had 16,000 points left. The car I used was Mercedes (can't remember the full name of it) and for those of you confused, if you are the runner and the boss is the chaser then if the boss hits you, you get extra 5,000 points, now just guess how close to losing I was... FOR THE 102nd TIME!... but I won.

The RX-7 is an okay car to try as I’ve pulled that off before. I’ve done it in the RX-8 and Camaro also but they’re a real long shot. Don’t think I’ve tried anything else outside of tier 3 besides them. For the most part, I advise you just avoid exotics.

Unless you can hack in the BMW M3 GTR, exotics aren’t good cars to use against him due to their lack of handling. Tuners & muscle cars have it much easier, if you have the money you should switch.

Fun fact:darius is the tier 3 boss,and you doesn't have tier 2,3 cars,and interesting thing is,the silvertron crew drive tier 1/2 car lol
