Hi Andrew I flew from c yesterday.and it's the best airport security I've ever been through. Fantastic !!!. Now they just need to get the arrival Terminal as good as departure and it will be one of the best airport's in the world.

Love the new departures lounge, thank you for filming the area that I remember. 8 years ago we had a severely delayed flight. Being a smoker I didn’t want to pass through security, so I spent 8 hours sat on a bench just were you highlighted the new building.

Looking very good and efficient, we are flying Ryanair at Christmas, so this will be a good experience.
I have read somewhere that the old section is going to be upgraded to look not dissimilar to the new C terminal in the coming years.

I just departed from Tenerife South yesterday with Edelweiss & transfer to Swiss Air in Zurich, to US, with no issues. We departed around 10:45 am local time. We love the new set up, very easy & efficient.

We checked in at A with Vueling and used the new security section, it was a breeze and looks great. Nice video.

Flew to Charleroi in Belgium with Ryanair yesterday. Drop off was C/200+ and through new security. Both efficient, quick and easy!

I flew out from the new terminal a few weeks ago with Aer Lingus. Had to check in at gate A4 & then had to walk all the way down to the new security area. It looked like it was the only security area & when you get through you go straight into the duty free. The old duty frees seem to be closed. Security was a lot quicker. All they have to do now is improve passport control for arrivals. Great vlog. xx

The new section is great. Massive airport. We got through Security super quick. Only thing after security not enough staff in the shops serving. Had to wait 30 mins to get a coffee in Zone C apart from that a great service. Bags come through so quick.

We caught our Jet 2 flight in May from C and knew where to go thanks to you. Still in ghe old security though. Be interesting to see where we go next year.

Great Video as always. Amanda & I where on United's inaugural flight on Jun 9. 1st time to TFS (we normally fly to TFN). Airport looked really nice. 1st thing i said to Amanda was "i wonder how TFN was able to handle this many people before TFS was built after the horrifc accident?". I still prefer TFN but as long as United runs the non stop from US to TFS we will be coming into TFS every year. LoL.

Hi Andy, I flew back via Jet2 2 weeks ago, new terminal is great, security area is massive and you get through really quick. There are some vending machines in there but trying to work out how to use with a Euro coin was confusing, be back in August

Me and Hubby are flying there in October, with Ryan Air, not been out there for 5 years, the last time we were due to go out my Hubby's Dad passed away then 3 weeks later my Sister's partner died, so we had to cancel our holiday, then due to covid etc So excited to be going there :D
The new area looks so light and bright and love the plants very welcoming :D

Not been to this airport for a couple of years and we have mainly flown TUI so might not go to or from that terminal but we will have a look at it, probably this year. Nice place the new bit. I don’t miss that trek down the long arrivals corridor we used to do!

Used it on Saturday morning flight back to Bristol going through security seemed OK but once through that still seemed needing improvement to departure gate as only 2 staff dealing with passport control and the queues for easyjet and Ryanair was horrendous everyone complaining about no air con and the heat .

Fly on Friday back to Leeds, excellent at Tenerife in new part, through in minutes but as others have said, it was a long walk back to the VIP lounge. Leeds on the other hand was a nightmare, an hour and a half from the plane to getting out with hand luggage only!!

Flew from Terminal C I think, with EasyJet last Wednesday. There was quite a queue for EasyJet last week, but my suitcase handle broke lol so my bag had to go through a special conveyor belt all the way at the end, security was fine, and I made use of duty free passing through 😀

I flew from New terminal in March when security was in old place, was a trek but looked fab. Im back in December and so looking forward to it, new area Las Am instead of Adeje.

That is the one i used yesterday but i did not know about it, this time i only came with hand luggage, so i went to the usual place, I entered and turned Left, only to be told to enter the new area, tbf it was quick & fast, but i had a bit of a walk to the Montaña Roja lounge, However my flight with BA this time was a great 5 min walk from the Lounge rather than the new Gates like last time.

Came back a few weeks ago the new security section brilliant. Massive very airey. Puts Manchester to shame very quick wide Isles.

We came home from Tenerife 28th may the new terminal had just opened the Tuesday before everything was straight forward until we got to passport control there was a massive queue just to get your passport stamped there’s 4 or 5 desks but only one desk was open that day they definitely need to open more desk’s to get the passengers through to their gate we are coming back September hopefully it will be better.

Travelled back to uk two weeks ago and going through security in the new terminal very fast. Duty free area not so good and trying to get food and drinks and a seat was a challenge.

I went through C on Saturday at 7pm & i was through security in 5 minutes, I could not believe it. *Edit 7:24 I went to walk past the inter island flights sign and lady said to me that it was for all flights and i could go through that way, i was flying to the UK

We flew from here with TUI last week. TUI check-in desks are in section A, Jet2 are section B, and EasyJet/Ryanair in section C. Also got a little confused by the ‘Inter-island’ sign at security, but on closer inspection it points to just one turnstile at each end - the turnstiles for other flights are right next to it, and you can enter at either end. Despite checking in section A, our boarding gate was then in section C……… not sure if this was an anomaly and they normally match? We might have just been luckily, but we found the whole process fast and efficient.

Can anyone tell me does Tenerife South Airport have water fountains to fill your own bottle. Just remember it being very expensive there when we went in 2018 xx

Whats happening on incoming flights? Me and the mrs are flying in on thursday, weve arranged a lift with the people were staying with (mare verde) is everything ok with jet2 flights coming into tenerife?
we flew in last week with jet2 and just waiting just now to return to the UK, both inbound and outbound delayed with a restricted on food and drink both ways received an email prior to flights.

Not sure, in the old section i think!
Check in with jet 2 and security were fast. Passport control in the terminal was not great due to the amount of people travelling and border force not operating enough desks. Just a heads up to anyone travelling out of that airport, once your gate is announced go immediately to passport control. Even if your flight starts boarding in 30-40 mins after the announcement.

Hi just a quick question, anyone who will travel from Schengen countries will not pass through security right? And as I check from the website that they dont require any covid vaccine.

One of the worst airports I've been too once your through security. It was like a cattle market not enough seating crap all over the floors and that weird bit where you have to show passports again the guy stamping them was nearly horizontal in his chair barely awake 🤣 this was a late flight around 9pm couple of weeks ago.

Flew from here on Sunday with jet2 so not sure if it's new/old I found it very basic no where to sit and no place to charge mobile phone so could be better.

Do you think arriving 2 hours before flight back to UK is still enough time? Hearing all sorts of stories that u need more time!
We arrived just over 3 hours and it was a waste of time as we stood for ages and waited and waited. I hope I’m right but 2 hours is more than enough IMO. Enjoy👍

No mobile phone signal in this new terminal. Just back from Tenerife.
I got a mobile signal in new Terminal, phoned wife to say our flight was delayed 1hr last Tuesday.

Thats not what i have heard and not what i saw that day 😊 also, every airport at the moment is very busy! Read the other comments, everyone saying its great!
@@TheKnightStrider I flew back to UK last Tuesday from the new terminal again, used the new security area for the first time, it wasn't operational when I left in May, straight through security at 2:30pm no problem, just had to go down to the B Gate area for the shops, bars & restaurants.
