- How to do Fluid Painting - 1 Huge Puddle on 36"x36" Canvas
Here I used 2 brands of white acrylic paint mixed together and the DecoArt Americana brand for my colors. I added Liquitex pouring medium to all my colors and poured 1 puddle. I added some white around it and moved around the canvas.`

Lotsa love! - Jak na to + styl
Wonderful, you are the first artist who express ,after the job, your disappointment about your painting. Your plans with blue were gone. That shows character. Congratulations. That the paining found your attraction later and you are explaining why, makes you sincere.
I held my breath throughout the pour and tilting. It was like watching a trapeze artist. Marvelous.
It doesn't matter if ppl try to copy you, they can never do as well as you, they also don't have your fantastic personality. You are a lovely soul and it shines through in your channel. Happy painting. 😊
Definitely not a failure. It does look good on the wall. Big canvas , not easy , great job.
The blue part was my fave!!! It looked like a cave with a view into the stars! But then the moss grew.... still pretty!
Beautiful - look at all of the cells coming up
That indigo blue color is gorgeous! Especially against the white and contrasting tones
Oh my goodness! First pour like this?!!! Amazing. I'm with Barb Valliant, you do have such a lovely soul. I'm addicted to your videos. Not only do you do amazing work but your sweet personality is a breath of fresh air. Please never stop posting.
That blue is everything. So glad some more came out. Thank you for sharing this with us. Stunning.
Well I love it when the s great artist says..." Happy Copying"" because that's what it's all about learning from these artists how tooooo.
BOOM is right. That is gorgeous.
Beautiful... Beautiful... Beautiful...
That is Spectacular!
Love it, Thats so awesome. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. Cant wait to see more.

This sure turned out stunning❗️Gorgeous❗️❗️
This is just wonderful. Thank You for sharing your life with us!
You inspire me with your enthusiasm and joy, and you are very talented! A delight to watch.
I love what the blue did in the middle of the painting. It looks amazing. Love it!!
BOOM ! Indeed ! Awesome !!!!
Bravo! In pours, your paint is master and this is the nature of the beast. The surprise at the end is what I love about doing it. Glad you are happy with your piece, you seemed a little nervous.
Nah this is cool. It looks like a pond. A lily pond slash swamp. Very cool. 💚
Absolutely beautiful!! Before the blue turned and the cells flourished, it looked like a close up of a piece of agate. Will definitely try, and will definitely link you!!💙💙💙
Wow,so so pretty!
Absolutely stunning Mely!!
WOW!!! Super great.. it is so beautiful!!! Love all your work!!
GORGEOUS!! Thanks so much for sharing!
It’s gorgeous!
I really like those colors!
So gorgeous!!!
This is really cool. Can’t get over the cells. That’s nuts.
Thank you :)
You're definitely the Queen of puddle pours! You have certainly taught me alot!
That's so sweet of you! So glad I could help :)
I may have said before but this process and painting is my favorite!
I love your originality, even some people might be copying your style they might not have your charisma 😉
Simone Padilha I’m copying her....I definitely lack her charisma. ☺️
Fabulous!
Great the contrasting is wonderful…. You are awesome at experimenting…. Thanks
Great work..I love your pours!
Awesome pour! I wish the blue had stayed more prominent, but, hey, that is what happens when you do a pour - you always have a bit of mystery about how it will turn out - but this is beautiful all the same and looks terrific on your wall. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas and not being afraid to try something absolutely new on camera! Can't wait to watch the next video!
It's gorgeous..I wish the blue had stayed even more. It reminds me of when they slice open a geode and you see the Crystal inside. I have never tried a puddle pour, but you have me thinking about it now. Maybe one day. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Kerry B. You should try it you'll have a blast!
Gorgeous as usual, you never disappoint !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
I love, love, love this one.
This is SO Awesome!!!!
Very nice job and end result.
I am always amazed at how the initial center pour always gets stretched out and never resembles what we started with. I am a beginner at pouring and am mesmerized by all the end results. Keep up the good work.
I love the finished painting!💗💗💗
Thank you!
Love it!
This is fantastic. I am not quite confident enough, yet, to put my attempts on CZcams, but I will try this on a smaller canvas. Thanks.
Thank you for all you share!! Beautiful as always!!!!
My pleasure and thank you!
It looks like a cross section of agate! It’s gorgeous!!!
You just keep rockin it👍🏼💕
Well done great pour! Love your bravery👍👏🏽
IT REALLY LOOKS GREAT ON YOUR WALL.....i'VE GOT A 40X30 THAT i HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED TO DO, SO i AM WATCHING ALL KINDS OF VIDEOS TO GET IDEAS.....THANKS FOR THIS.
Love, love, love this one. You are so inspiring I love your videos ❤❤❤
What a surprise that the green ate the blue. It is beautiful but I know you wanted the blue to be more dominant. Great job for a first time try. You are way braver than I!
beautiful!
Thank you Mellie. I found you from Sandra Lett's videos. I thank you for sharing with us. So much fun. I love it! Marty
I looove it!!!
That one is so great love it
Every time I do one of your puddle pours I share you and tell them how amazing your pours are
Thank you for everything you do
joseph stanley you are so sweet Joseph! And it's my pleasure :)
Awsome great job
Beautiful finish
I love the olive green in it.
Even though you have a plan, I love how the paint has its own identity and evolves into whatever form it sees fit. I agree with you about the blue but I think this turned out the most perfect way possible. Well done!
Jim Hummel thank you so much Jim :)
You read my mind. I commented before I finished watching and low and behold, there it is on your wall. See, I told you so. I knew it would look so good on your wall. Yah!
I was saying to myself.. what the heck is this guy saying I would love to see it on your wall LOL Then I saw this.
Thanks Condee :)!!
You should be very happy. It’s a great work of art.
You are awesome! I have a 36 inch to do too. But you make things look easy. Thanks for another great video!!
Rewatching this one too- I loved that blue! I’m writing notes on what you have learned- thank you so much for sharing all that you share! (Your very generous with your information!) I’m still trying to find “my” white mix! Gurl you hold onto that one secret!
So inspired by you MelyD!
Love your videos. Your adventurous spirit is an inspiration to me (as an ultra conservative.) Keep up the good work, girl!!
totally understand how the cells piss you off, so many times I wish some pieces would have none when trying to have them, theres a few when you don't want they overtake, lol great color scheme dear, happy painting, take a breath lol
Really beautiful💖💖💖💖💖
Love it! Want to do this with black, white and grey.
Beautiful, Mely! When I saw what happened to the blue I wanted you to whip out your hairdryer and do the thing like on your feather painting to bring it back ;) Maybe this painting was done before the hairdryer technique. I've been staying small so far but I'm ready to try a big one. You're an inspiration!
Mel, I noticed something on my phone that I had overlooked since Christmas. You are a wonderfully kind person. How could I not have noticed? Probably grief. Thank you .
Its great...I really like the colors you choose, all over it looks beautiful and please upload more and more videos I really liked a lot and it inspires me to do soo.. thankyou😚
Lol, I can believe you were exhausted after you moved it around!! I was holding my breath the whole time you were moving it all around😂😂😂 I love it!!
Great experiment!
I do think the continued changes to the olive and blue look really cool. It looks a bit like some kind of water plants.
I sure hope anyone who does their own videos based on your techniques will give you credit. It is only right.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us!
Shar Hoff thank you so much I really appreciate it! ;)
Love your videos
It´s beautiful and it helps to watch you pour on a big canvas since I am preparing for a pour on a canvas which is 50 x 50 inches and I am very stressed. I have learned a lot from you.....thank you. I'll keep watching.
Kaja Þrastardóttir thank you so much and good luck with your huge peice!
Beautiful
LOVE IT!!! Love it as it is
Beautiful😍😍
Go big or go home!!!! Lol
Amazing! Beautiful as always !!!!! :)
krissyjaquez thank you! :)
I like the change in orientation. It's nice, Mely. You did good!
Marilyn Cordell i do too it fits better this way :) thank you!
Neat. Looks like a geode.
That blue! So sad, but the result is gorgeous and courageous!!!
Cool...really wanna have a go at puddling...😀
Très beau 👩🏻🎨🙏🏻
Keep it up! I think you are up to something good!
Nice job!
What caused so much green cell activity? You have a beautiful painting in spite of the green cells. I hope you do another one, but even if you don’t , this one is so grand.
I know it didn't do what you wanted, but it still looks great anyway. I would love to see it on a wall. Great job. Let's do it again!
I love how you work. you are so brave and i think your works are awesome. :) I dont know much when it comes to acrylic paint but i have seen with other laired paintings that it is possible to sand it when it is fully dry. maybe this would bring out more of the blue here? give a fun effect maybe? it can be varnished after to bring back the gloss i think...
Beautiful! Don’t know how you managed a canvas that big.👍🏻
beautiful.
I really liked this one... your channel is awesome! LOVE THE VIDOES OF YOUR WORK.. you’ve even motivated me to try my own fluid attempts 😂😂 I’m sure they will be nothing like yours and more like the lame ones I’ve seen by others on here attempting them
I think it turned out beautiful!
keylimekisses thank you!
great work
It's very beautiful. It looks almost as if it's a detail of an ancient map.
And I promise that if I ever try a similar pour it will be an homage to you.
Thank you so much I appreciate it :)
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
