Jingdi Cliff Road is located in Jingdi Village, Pingshun County, Shanxi Province. It is the only passage from Jingdi Village to Pingshun County. Jingdi Village used to be an important location on the Shanxi-Yuan Ancient Road. Many vendors would pass by Jingdi Village with their goods. It gradually became a village full of shops. Later, due to the change of commercial routes, fewer people passed by here. The economy of Jingdi Village was also affected, and the villagers had no choice but to spontaneously build a road leading to the outside world. Since 1996, Jingdi Village mobilized 800 old and young people in the whole village to excavate and build cliff roads. Without external support and design blueprints, the villagers used hammers, steel drills and self-made explosives to excavate bit by bit. During the process, five villagers dedicated their lives to this cliff road. One can imagine how difficult it is to dig this cliff road in the cliff! It took the villagers 10 years to successfully build this 1.5-kilometer cliff road. After the cliff road was opened to traffic, it gradually became a popular tourist attraction. The economy of Jingdi Village has also been greatly improved. It also won the title of "Famous Tourist Village in Shaanxi Province". At the end of the video is Jingdi Village, where there are many small shops, restaurants, and hotels. Tourism is the main source of income for this village.

That was amazing I really enjoyed the drive and the road was alittle scary at times, once again thank you for showing us rural area of china, I happy to see dvelopement taking place in the villages, usually rural area's dont see much developement from Govt's, but here we can see China & local govts are spreading the wealth to rural area through infrastructure & homes.

This is the old Ordinary road from Linzhou to Changzhi. Eight years ago, the Anyang-Linzhou-Changzhi expressway has completely replaced this old road. The Anyang-Linzhou-Changzhi expressway has the longest expressway tunnel in North China.
It would be nice also if there is a second camera so we can see the right side sometimes. Feels like we are losing chance to see beautiful views.

明明那么大的标识路边严禁停车，甚至还在洞里停，路到是修好了，可这人的素质一言难尽啊。
关键是无人管理执法，一片混乱
前几年广西合那高速公路通车，我老家有一段出了隧道就能看到一个瀑布，一大帮人直接在应急车道停车，有监控都没用，后来路政简单粗暴用铁皮挡起来了，完全看不到，除非开的是大卡车，只能说活该。😂
有的人从来就是双标。没关系的，只是停一会儿，甚至要求高铁停一下等他们没有赶到的亲人。他们完全不知道什么叫做体面，如何做一个体面的人。

Гуляющие в том же туннеле люди тоже выглядят крайне странно.
I also noticed that black car was parked in the dark at the entrance of the tunnel. These people are either ignorant or totally disregarding the safety of others!

Most Chinese people have obtained their driver's license for the first time. And in some unusual places, they forget the habit of taking care of other vehicles. In order to see the scenery, they disregarded the possibility of causing traffic congestion. The people need several generations of education to slowly change.
This is an old route that has in fact been turned into a sightseeing route. The new transportation line crosses the entire mountain and is tunneled the whole way.

Wow..what an incredible sights .if you could have add English sub..t.all the way through the rocks is awesome. No other people do so liked the Chinese had done. On top, the residents at the last may be rural areas yet they had constructed their houses so beautifully. How's this thing possible with meagre income sources. I appreciate their hard worked .
