i used to work at a scrap yard and in the time i was there i broke open a few safes still never found anything inside one but the fastest way we broke them open was to put it through the shear we had on site think it took me like 5 min to cut one in half. probably easier for you in future to ask any scrapyard if they would open it for you. and if nothing else you can scrap the remains of the safe for a little cash.
