I just bought a 2024 RAV4 Limited for my wife. Overall I'm very happy but I took it on the freeway today and thought it was a little noisy. This is my first SUV so I'm not sure if this is the norm or not. I have a 2018 Mustang 5.0 and it has a lot of road noise but I expect that. My wife drives 500 miles round trip to her job every week and this Sunday will be the first time she takes it on the freeway. I'm not going to say anything about the road noise and will wait to see if she complains about it as she is driving a 2011 Mercedes now.

Is it a gas or hybrid trim? Why didn't you go with hybrid? Return that car and take a hybrid one. The Hybrid XLE premium trim should be good enough. Hybrid trim would be much quieter, quicker and smoother. Gas trim is a little noisy when picking the speed but it will be alright while cruising.

My 2021 Rav4 gas had road noise from the roof rack crossbars and tires.
