I would never ever want to get a passport from United States.....even if they would want to give it to me. You realize when you travel the world...most people in most countries...they HATE the U.S. I can´t understand why anybody would want to be come a citizen.... if you understand the concept of this country and it´s history. No doubt for me....not even desire-able to live there. They are much better countries !

As a Kuwaiti Muslim who went to one of those private English schools growing up and is currently doing my degrees in the US, he spoke to my heart across this video. I still got a 100% rate of getting "randomly selected" every time I try to leave Seattle. Only been stopped twice coming in which is kinda weird. But I realised its basically: clean shaven, good to go, beard, I get stopped.
I even had to use that travel document he spoke of one time and even Kuwait was just like "wtf is this" and it took my 3 hours to get in.
It may be a reentry permit.
My wife is German and I am Pakistani, it's hilarious flying with her caz they keep stopping her now 😂😂
So maybe they are thinking that whatever stuff I am hiding, I would be hiding with her

Just watched the special Vagabond! I laughed so hard my eyes almost popped out of my head! What a talented comedian! I am a veteran from the Air Force and served in Doha, Qatar. Made many friends and just dedicated a novel I wrote to my bestfriend Jarallah, who passed away. TMI but I love the Middle Eastern family I made. 'atamanaa lak yawmaan saeidaan Way to go, Mo Amer!

Great to listen to this because as of today after 12 years I became a US citizen. God bless America!!! After being a refugee for almost 25 years I’m finally a legal citizen of one of if not the greatest country in world.
Super funny man! He's an eloquent example of how important it is to embrace immigration - especially for refugees - no matter the creed or color. As a human being, I am proud to count this man as part of the world cultural heritage. Brilliant!

I came to the US as a refugee and took only 5 years to become naturalized citizen. I think the reason it took him 20 years to get citizenship is because he came here as a child and the fee to apply for citizenships before age 18 is almost double than adults. Most immigrants wait until their kids are 18 and older to apply. Can’t judge too quick what his situation was. I have lived in the U.S for 10 years and never experienced any discrimination because of my refugee background.
