- I have found what I believe to be the best place in Elm Creek to start a farm with 1.5 million starting money from scratch.

This spots really good actually i usually go to the top right the only problem is its so expensive so this is a great starter farm

I've been tempted to try this spot but my OCD brain doesn't like how the road just randomly continues through the property, and you can't remove those three long buildings. This is very much a me thing, other than that looks like a good spot!
Yeah it would be nice to remove the 3 long buildings for sure.
Problem with this spot is once you delete the existing buildings the terrain is super jacked and placing any buildings make the terrain impossible to fix.
Yeah but with a small amount of terrain editing you can fix it up but you are correct it messes it up for ya.
Did the same place. Made all the fields around it one single field.
Thought about doing that as well maybe in a future video we can see how it works out!
@@catbirdbeesimulations the AI did alright once built . I also made the one across from the buy location a single field all the way to the railroad tracks
Might have to start out there given how useless the default farm on Elm Creek is.
It’s worth a try I have a 2nd video out about how the first harvest went and the numbers for profit
To far from shop, basic start location is better I always convert 49 and 48 into farm. Problem with your start is that it's on the corner so you are far from everything and also as mentioned, much of landscaping have to be done to make this place nice and flat.
It is a bit of a drive from the shop for sure. I’ll have to check out 48 and 49 thanks,

I'm in St. Kalle right now and liking that so far but for some reason there is just something about Elm Creek. 🤣
How do you start with 1 million? I started with 100k
New farmer is 100k farm manager is 1.5 million plus you can take a 500k loan

It’s not that bad I’ll start looking for more good places to build I have found another nice place to build.
